To reset your Ring Video Doorbell, press and hold the setup button for 10-15 seconds and release. Once the white light on the front of the device stops spinning, proceed with the setup process. Doesnt notify any one infront of your house but notifies if a car drives by, batter gets charged takes almost 2 days to charge and 4 days later it says battery needs charge. When it records some movement the recording is grayed out so cant see a thing.

It sounds like your device is not performing as expected. To clear up these issues you mentioned, your device may need to be reset. Follow these steps to reboot your device in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the device you want to reboot.
Make sure it's connected to wifi.
Tap the Device Health tile.
Scroll down to Reboot This Device and confirm your selection.
Give your Ring device a few minutes to start up.
Visit our support center if additional troubleshooting is needed.

I've had packages sitting right in front of it and still no notification. I've called Ring customer service and they were no help. It's worthless.

It started just after the warranty expired. I spent 1 hour, and fifteen minutes on the phone with the Ring tech who kept saying it must be the internet providers problem, google fiber, however the other ring devises work just fine. I am exploring Google Nest as a replacement.
