    Ring doorbell that wouldn’t work properly

    I believe this is the first door bell installed that turned out to be a lemon and had to exchange it for an upgrade as I couldn’t be guaranteed another like it would be any different

    Don't waste your money

    You will regret buying this. At first it worked ok. Now whenever someone rings my doorbell or I get people walking to my door. I get a alerts on my phone. When I check the alert app nothing shows up. I have to close the app wait like 30sec open the app back up. Still not guaranteed to get who's at your door. I called ring customer service they are no help at all. Don't waste your money on ring anything!

      Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your doorbell from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.     Never worked

    Did not buy this at Best Buy. Was a present by a Home buider, it has never worked. PERIOD. Maybe it’s just this Gen. Have seen same issues with this Gen all over the internet. A whole year and nothing. Ring .com for over 2 hours and nothing. Doesn’t conect to Wifi. Doesn’t stream live video. Doesn’t do any video. Maybe camera issue.

      It sounds like your device is not receiving a charge. To charge the battery for your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation), use a common micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring box. Simply plug it into any USB power source. Your doorbell can take around 5–10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet.     Ring doorbell does not do what it advertises. No support. The new features do nothing. I’ve toggled through each one and it makes no diff. If you want something that works as described, you’re gonna have to spend the time and money.... not on ring

    I wouldn’t know if this work or not. I pre-ordered and it was suppose to be here today. However, it’s saying that’s it’s sold out and I will get it by the 10th, if not they will cancel the order. Why pre-order and you don’t get it on the actual day!

    Preordered this item 2 weeks ago claim I'll get it on the 3rd of June now its delayed and also sold out at the store and this is the 3rd item I have ordered an this has happened thinking about just paying my card off m cancelling it

Ring devices are compatible with Alexa-enabled devices such as Echo Show, Echo Spot, Echo Dot, Fire Tablets (7 and above), Fire TV (2 and above), Fire TV Cube (1 and above), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick (2 and above), and Nebula Soundbar: Fire TV Edition.

      You can connect your compatible Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Fire TV, or Fire Tablet to your Ring device and use Alexa voice commands to do the following (and more):

      Answer your door (and receive chime notifications on your Alexa-enabled device).
      Speak to your visitors.

      It sounds like your Ring Chime is not working as expected. Your device may have lost its power connection. Follow these steps to check whether your Ring Chime has lost its power:

      First, examine the Ring Chime unit. Is the light on the front glowing a soft blue? That means the unit is receiving power. If the light isn't glowing, try unplugging and plugging the unit back into the plug. It should restart immediately.
      If it does not restart, try the unit at another power outlet. If it starts glowing, you may have an issue with the outlet itself. Try plugging another appliance into the original outlet and see if you're getting power from it. You may have blown a fuse and need to reset the outlet at the breaker.

      Once you've replugged the unit back into an outlet and verified that it's receiving power, let the device run for at least thirty seconds. Once the light stops flashing and glows steadily, it has automatically reconnected to your network.

We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the optional Ring Protect Plans. The Ring Protect Plan is a subscription that gives you access to paid features for your Ring device. With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account.

      Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

The Video Doorbell is designed to detect visitors at your door based on how you have designated your Motion Zones. If your driveway is within view of your Doorbell, you can try adjusting the Motion Zones to capture the part of your driveway that you'd like to be notified about motion in.
