It's the low end model maybe, but does what we need it to do. Caught me falling down the steps in the snow (husband called immediately to see if I was okay!), and caught the UPS guy falling up the steps yesterday!! Easy to fix it so the cats don't set it off, too. We like it!!

I had the original 720p model when it released and it served us well for years. I also prefer this to the higher end ring doorbells due to the built in battery which they omit.

You can hook it up to your electricity or you can charge it, and it will let you know when the battery is low so you can recharge it. If you have any Alexa device you can hook it up to it and it will notify you that someone is at the door

It doesn’t have a quick release battery that you can take out and exchange for a another, however this thing still has all the same features at the newer more expensive models and it’s a good buy.

I am happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs extra security, or just to make sure packages are safe, and even for disabled people who can not just jump up to get the door.
