It is so amazing and easy too set up. It only took me about less then 10 minutes too set the device up through the ring app. The quality of the video is very good. You can get real good details of your live footage and the subscription is only 4$ a month for access too your footage. And the good thing is that it is free for the first 30 days. If your looking for something too monitor your front door while your not home or while home but want to be aware of what’s going on I strongly recommend your purchase this. It also comes in handy because you can speak from your phone too the ring device through the app.

Got it plugged in to charge while I read the instructions. The setup was easy to follow and only took me less than 30 minutes. The installation was also pretty easy and painless. It’s been working seamlessly ever since! Happy with it!

The people/package detection feature is very accurate. The only downside is you must pay an monthly fee to keep recordings from the camera.

It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the optional Ring Protect Plan. With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

We purchased two, one for the front door and one for the back door. I know before Amazon delivers that I have a package at my front door, which is saying a lot. Backdoor works great too. I know when someone is in my backyard or under my carport.

Picture quality 1080p super clear. The video doorbell can be installed wireless or hardwired. I have mines wireless which works perfect just buy the solar charger to go with it

I like that I get notified by a 'ring' sound when someone is close to the door and actually talk to that person if wanted to, and can also can subscribe to keep a longer video.

We needed a camera that didn’t need wiring as we didn’t want to poke too many holes in our new house. This product was perfect for us. The only thing I don’t like is that at times the video cuts off so you don’t see the whole video of someone at your house or it lags a couple seconds. I have adjusted sensitivity and it’s still hit or miss.

With this camera I have the extra layer of protection that I need to feel safe. The picture is clear & the detection is spot on. I highly recommend this product!
