I bought this for my vacation home and it is as easy to setup and install. Works well. Still trying to adjust the motion sensor field. Really like the Ring product at a reasonable price on sale $99.

I can answer the door via my Alexa device and on my phone. The bronze color looks really nice. There is a monthly subscription which is nominal at $30 per year if you want extra features.

Something is up with my wiring so I just have the Ring doorbell attached wirelessly. Very easy setup and it has been holding a charge without issue.

I ordered my Ring doorbell and used your curbside pickup. I purchased it because of car theft/vandalism in my neighborhood. I set it for chimes. If anything moves near my door the chimes go off. It has even stopped neighbors from curbing their dogs in my front yard.

Even the passing cars, the blowing wind etc. etc. overall it’s a good device just wish it wasn’t as sensitive.

This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. If you do not wish to receive notifications for motion events, simply toggle off the "Motion Alerts" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is picking up too much motion, we recommend lowering the "Motion Sensitivity" under the "Motion Settings" tab. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This also includes changing the "Motion Frequency" to "Regularly" or "Periodically" in the Ring app.
Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts", please follow these steps:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap "Motion Settings."
Tap "Smart Alerts."
Tap "Enable Feature."
Tap "Continue."
Select the notification options that you want for "Person" and "Other Motion."
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings, tap "Done."

If you aren't into technology you can easily use the Ring. I am satisfied with the picture and sound. I will be checking into other Ring products. I really like being able to see who is at my door.

Bought it at a time when there was a sale (watch out for sales - this doorbell usually has a sale). The neighbors portal on the Ring App is also useful to know whats happening in the neighborhood.
