I like knowing I don't have to try to see who's at the door through the peephole. The motion sensor is great. It can even detect a car driving down my street. It's easy to set up and the instructions are easy to follow. Ours is wired to our doorbell so the doorbell will ring, which is great. I haven't decided whether to connect it to Alexa.

The very low monthly fee for cloud service makes the Ring video doorbell affordable for just about everyone.

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is our first doorbell camera and it has been great, we have 2-way communication capabilities, multiple different ring types and the picture/audio quality is usually very good. Now i do have to say that the overall record quality is ok but not the best for this model, when watching recorded video the buffer lags out the first second so it can look fuzzy or jumpy but then it clears up. We have yet to figure out how to make it start recording early as it usually starts when whatever set it off is already halfway through the zones we've set up. While the recordings look good overall i have noticed that if you pause the recording to zoom in on say a license plate or face the quality of the image is significantly of lesser qualty al.ost to where you cannot make out the plate number or face. Also not happy that you have to biy the camera and pay for a subscription service to record and save videos.

Your Ring doorbell works best when using high speed internet. Poor connection to your router, as well as your mobile device's signal strength, can effect the overall video quality and cause buffering. We recommend downloading the video clip for processing prior to zooming in for best resolution. The downloaded quality will be better than the live view.

With so many vehicle break ins, it’s nice to have some security in knowing I can get alerts if any activity is happening throughout the night time hours

Easy to install, easy to configure through the downloadable iPhone app. Be aware, the app and basic festures are free, but you need to buy a subscription if you want to be able tom save videos, etc.

I lost Movement from both my legs and my left arm But I can use my right arm For small movements. And I can use this door opener Front by my phone using just my voice Which is the best part!

Invest in the solar charger. Stays charged for roughly 60 days on just the battery bedore you jeed to charge it. So the solar charger will help make charging less annoying.

Couldnt find the breaker to shut the power off but did it myself anyway. Just don’t touch both wires at the same time and you won’t get shocked. Camera works extremly well in dark. Takes some customization to ge the notifications right. Very satisfied.

Don’t expect to read the name script on worker’s jackets from your phone. But to work around that, get a large screen to display on. I opted for an Echo Show 8 (8” screen), works just fine.
