It announces anyone at the front door and also offers a video of people and v Achilles coming and going. All good. I added the remote chimes to be able to hear the Ring all over the house. They work well have a choice of rings, and are great!

Decent security camera

Good quality video with a wide view. You can use it wireless or wire it to your existing doorbell. I'm still tinkering with the motion detection sensitivity to get it just right. Obviously, you have to pay for a subscription to retain video, but its only $3.99 for one device. $10 for multiple devices.

My only disappointment is that i had to purchase the chime after the fact because otherwise the sound was nonexistent. If your devices isn’t near you are likely to miss people at your door. I felt that the chime should’ve been included instead of being it’s own purchase. Other than that I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Its much better. It doesnt die as quick and I have the motion alerts on the highest setting so it picks up everything! I love it! Hands down!
