I am able to see who comes to my door and protect me from being burglarized. I dont keep ot on the outside of the door. I have it on the door with my screen door lock which make it harder for someone to cover up or just take off. It show the same as being outside on the porch.

Ring doorbell adds security to my home

It is at a locked gate and not the front door and I think it is the best solution for this unconventional application

Still at 50% and its been over two months now. The only downside is that I may be too far away from the router and it isn't storing my videos with consistency. My fault probably and not Ring.

Outstanding Value - Great Device!

These later models are truly a great value. We have 2 front doors where we have this installed and the picture quality and wide-angle views make this a must-have in my opinion. I highly recommend these Ring doorbells - you won't be disappointed.
