It was very simple to install.

Ring Doorbell with Chime

Had to purchase a basic plan which records all activity/motions. I'm not sure if chime is doing any work for me but I get all the notfications on my phone. The qualify of the video is nice too. Recommend.

We understand how important it is for your Ring Video Doorbell Wired with Ring Chime to function consistently and reliably, so you are alerted to any wanted or unwanted activity in or around your home. Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like you are experiencing issues with the device in regards to connection. Ring devices require high-speed internet and poor network connectivity can affect the performance of your Ring device. Identify and troubleshoot what is causing connectivity issues for Ring devices to give you the best possible video and audio experience.
To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. Your Ring device will adjust video quality based on your internet speed, but needs at least 1 Mbps to work and 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. In addition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.

Quality of life

It's great to know when our company arrives and we can send a message when we can't come to the door. Even our cat loves it. Our cat goes to the door when the motion sensor rings. A positive quality of life item.

Had to shrink my target range a bit as it was setting off notifications for way too many bits of movement but that's a good thing. The 30 days of free "Ring Protect" was enough to hook me on it. Purchased the basic plan outright for the year instead of monthly and it saved me a few bucks. Will definately get a few more devices for the house as part of a DIY security program.
