The Video Doorbell Wired offers 1080p HD video with night vision and two-way audio with noise cancellation. Your Video Doorbell Wired is designed to replace an existing doorbell button and gets its power from the doorbell system.

Keeps going offline. Returning after only 2 days.

Twice it just went offline, and the only way to get it back online was to be home to manually press reset button on the doorbell after unscrewing the plate... This totally defeats the purpose of a security camera if it goes offline when im away and I need to physically be home to put it back online. Contacted ring twice. First time they said it was a firm ware issue and it updated and wont happen again. Second time, ring customer service told me to return it to store.. Then emailed me after to tell me how to re connect it. I know how to re connect it, my issue is why does it go offline in the first place? All my other wifi products work with no issues. I took doorbell off and followed ring's instructions and will be returning it tomorrow.

The Ring Doorbell Wired must be hardwired to a transformer with 10-24 VAC, 20-40VA max, and 50/60Hz. It sounds as though you may have returned this doorbell. If not, we’d love to work together to ensure you have the proper power source to adequately power the Ring Video Doorbell Wired.
Have you verified that you've installed the jumper cable properly? You can do so by following these steps:
Connect one end of the Jumper Cable to the "Front" terminal, and the other to the "Trans" terminal. It doesn't matter which wire you connect to which terminal.
Then re-tighten the terminal screws.

Dont buy a ring product JUNK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to catch neighbors dog, coming into my yard to bite my dogs, doesn't norify you til a huge item is at the doorbell. Car or person. There tech support is a joke was on the phone with someone for 5 hours, she kept saying im trying to get ahold of next step tecgh support, but my 15 minute hold rime is up, WHAT !!!!! So she said she'd call me back later, 48 hrs now srill havent heard from here. If they dont fix it soon. Ill go buy a nest, or something else, that actually has support in the US
