Ring Doorbell with Chime

It does just what we need it to do, and we don't have to keep charging the battery. This was a great value since it included the Chime.

Great little Ring doorbell

I bought this to replace an older Ring doorbell with battery. I didn't need a battery since this is a wired install, so this one made sense. It was very easy to install and is smaller than the previous battery model I had.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We would like to provide you with solutions to the concerns you are experiencing today!
To enable your in-home chime, please follow these steps in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings.
Tap the Device Settings tile.
Tap In-home Chime Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital, or None)
Tap the toggle to turn on or turn off your in-home doorbell chime.
Tap Save in the upper right to save your changes.
If the app is unable to detect an in-home chime, follow the steps below to manually configure.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital Type 1, or Digital Type 2).
Tap Continue.
Tap Ring my in-home chime.
Follow the prompts in the app to complete the test.
Using incompatible power sources can damage your device and cause electric shock. To identify which type or doorbell chime you have, listen to the sound it makes.
A mechanical chime uses a physical bell and a mechanical hammer and makes a traditional ding-dong sound. A digital chime plays pre-recorded digital tones through an electronic speaker and often has a selection of different tones you can choose from. If you're unsure what type of doorbell chime you have, remove the front of your chime box and look inside for a bell and hammer or an electronic speaker.

I have about a 10 second delay to get my notification and once I get it live works fine but going back I've had trouble. Set up was incredibly easy to install. The app was easy to install as well. Overall I love it.

The cheaper of the options provided but works phenomenally. Will come with a trail membership to record consistently on your app. After the 30 days, you’ll need to purchase a 3 dollar per month subscription per device.

The only negative was the Ring works on more amps than my current doorbell transformer. Thus, it fried the transformer. It had to be replaced by an electrician. So, my $60.00 Ring purchase turned into a $280.00 total bill.
