I bought this for my daughter to put up at her apartment ...security is always important but in a building with people coming and going it is a must! Love the security and dependability of it! We had a super annoying vivint system in the home we bought. I don't need smart everything but I do like the idea of a front door camera - so bought this and had a friend install. You can change the doorbell tone. Easy to use. Good value at $5/mo for the ring subscription.

The install was very easy. Design is very nice and the chime works great. The app sometimes is a bit delayed, however a lot of that is more likely from my network connection depending on where I am at in the world.

We also had to add a bit of doorbell wire during installation, because we needed to put them out just a bit in order to create enough clearance next to the door. I'm a bit disappointed that you cannot choose differing chimes for which doorbell was pressed--unless that's something they just didn't put into the instructions. If I don't have my phone on me, I don't know which door the person who range is at... Maybe there's a step I missed?
