This was purchased a long with an Alexa for my 84-year-old mom who uses a walker and wanted something so she can see who is in her front yard walking up to her door. With the Alexa, she knows when someone is at her door and whether she wants to get up or not to go to the door. She also can talk to that person to let them know she is headed to the door (which take time). The wired chime is loud enough when she is in another room away from Alexa to let her know someone rang the Ring bell. The only little complaint is that I have an APP on my phone to know who comes to moms. The sound quality sometimes is not that great. Or it's a delay in talking to the person at the door.

Responds much faster than our 7 year-old Eufy, and Ring no longer requires a subscription, which I didn't want or need - those are the plusses. One of the minuses is that the Eufy unit came with a little mounting wedge, to allow the doorbell camera to point a little more out towards the street (necessary for the way I had to mount it). I mounted the Ring to the wedge and it works great. The other minus is that Eufy has a range setting, which I could set to keep it from detecting my neighbor's comings and goings. I don't see a way to do that with Ring.

Glad that I finally purchased ring doorbell. Can tell when someone is at front door even when I'm runny errands. Amazon delivered package when I was on walk so I detoured back home before continuing walk. Total Tech did great job installing.

I bought this for my parents and they love it! Installation was quick and easy, and the instructions for installation and setup were clear and concise. We're still exploring all the features and options in the app but so far it's working well.

The ring items we purchased work very well together and with installation performed by best buy, it was done very quickly with good information from the installers

OMG, didn't know if I would be able to install and setup. But, the directions were very easy and a perfect install. Fun to play with a new toy for a month. Will make the decision after the free month if I go with Ring Security or not. Great product

I bought the door bell ring because I needed to answer people who were at my door. To tell them to come in since I'm in a wheelchair and can't come to the door. I like it so far.

So far the doorbell and chime has worked perfectly. The camera helped me avoid a solicitation from a person who should not have been working our community. The chime is great. We can hear the doorbell from the garage, the back porch, and the master bedroom now.

I am very pleased with this most basics of Ring devices. I love how it works and the price was great!

This cam is great!!! this one is made for out buildings and small apartment’s Word to the wise if you look at the bad reviews, dont believe them. do not over torque mounting screws for door bell, it will cause case to break its weather seal, do not install pig tails, direct wire it at door bell and indoor hard wire chime, use jumper that goes to indoor hard wire chime, do not bridge hard wire indoor chime so that it still works, it will cause wireless chime and cam not to work right. will not work on wifi6 or wifi6e router or mesh, unless systems have guest wireless accounts that u can set too wpa-wpa2 and guest network’s need to be able to see whole network. last after program make sure to set static route for door beel and chime in case of power outage.

My 5 star review is for the young man that helped me and handled the transaction. I have gone to this Best Buy for approximately 7 years. 9 times out of 10, the service from the associates on the floor is horrible. He is the 1st associate to be so helpful! With employees like him, I'll purchase from this location more often. Normally when I plan to spend alot, I'll go to another Best Buy where the service was better. Please hire more employees like him! He deserves an Employee award. Oh yeah, the Ring is great.

The Ring Wired Video Doorbell with Chime is amazing. It works fantastically, and the videos are so clear, even at night. The two-way audio is great. We highly recommend this product.

Works great. Specially when you figure out all the settings. Got it for my parents who are older and have a hard time getting up and down stairs to answer the door. They can see who it is and talk to them without getting up. Downside you have to pay for a subscription and plan.
