We tested to see if it worked 18 miles away and it did. The next test is to test at a further distance.

Just be sure you have the appropriate transformer to power this as it will not run off of your normal doorbell transformer.

I had two employees at two separate stores tell me it does not. Please do a better job training staff to know their products.
