Best of all I can record, store and share videos. Everything from odd occurrences, weather, strangers and deliveries. Can’t wait to buy more and set up system for my house. Our doorbell was broken - the Ring fit right into the same spot as the existing doorbell and the chime (which is the part that was broken) gets plugged in wherever you want to hear the door bell. Plus it rings on your phone and you can talk to anyone at your door remotely

I enjoy that it doesn’t require a subscription like others. The sound quality is great and it’s loud enough for my parents to hear. All in all, worth the price for what you get.

Ring Doorbell with Chime

It does just what we need it to do, and we don't have to keep charging the battery. This was a great value since it included the Chime.

Great little Ring doorbell

I bought this to replace an older Ring doorbell with battery. I didn't need a battery since this is a wired install, so this one made sense. It was very easy to install and is smaller than the previous battery model I had.

We would like to provide you with solutions to the concerns you are experiencing today!
To enable your in-home chime, please follow these steps in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings.
Tap the Device Settings tile.
Tap In-home Chime Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital, or None)
Tap the toggle to turn on or turn off your in-home doorbell chime.
Tap Save in the upper right to save your changes.
If the app is unable to detect an in-home chime, follow the steps below to manually configure.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital Type 1, or Digital Type 2).
Tap Continue.
Tap Ring my in-home chime.
Follow the prompts in the app to complete the test.
Using incompatible power sources can damage your device and cause electric shock. To identify which type or doorbell chime you have, listen to the sound it makes.
A mechanical chime uses a physical bell and a mechanical hammer and makes a traditional ding-dong sound. A digital chime plays pre-recorded digital tones through an electronic speaker and often has a selection of different tones you can choose from. If you're unsure what type of doorbell chime you have, remove the front of your chime box and look inside for a bell and hammer or an electronic speaker.

Worth the piece of mind

I have about a 10 second delay to get my notification and once I get it live works fine but going back I've had trouble. Set up was incredibly easy to install. The app was easy to install as well. Overall I love it.
