Set up was fairly simple out of the box to completion 20 minutes picture quality good not great and ease-of-use good app user friendly

It gives a good picture and is easy to install. Walks you through it. Will be returning it as where we wanted to install it would not work well. Bummer☹️

The video doorbell works well and is simple to install. Be aware if you want to hear the ring alert in the house, you will also need to either hard wire the device or obtain the chime. Chime is additional $25-30. Otherwise you will only get the alert on your phone or tablet. The motion alert takes some tweaking, but once you get it set correctly for your property you can avoid most false alerts. Cloud recording of the alerts costs $3/month or $30/year. It will operate without cloud recording--there just wont be a recording of the triggering event. As yet there is no way to just monitor at will through the camera. That is the door bell has to be triggered by motion or a ring for the camera to come on.

I looked into several different surveillance cameras and was happy with this one. I purchased it and it was fairly simple to instal if you previously had a wired doorbell already installed. My only complaint is that it can’t withstand Chicago’s weather. Due to the cold temperatures and even though it’s hardwired, the battery still drains. Which then gives me the inconvenience of having to remove my RING doorbell and put it to charge inside my house. Which unfortunately leaves me without a doorbell temporarily.

Battery doesn’t last as long as advertised especially in cold climates. Clear video and the ring community is a nice added benefit.

I wish I had bought myself a Ring doorbell sooner. I love my Ring. I love that I can see who is around my house and at my door. The Ring was very easy to install, setup, connect and use. The app is also incredibly easy to use. I find myself checking my app often just to see whats going on out there. I also love that there is a neighborhood watch program available for Ring. Setup your ring with your home address and you can notify and be notified of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood. Awesome Product. 5 stars! I love it so much I bought one for my parents.

I am so glad that I finally purchased Ring. It allows a gentle chime if someone is approaching your porch area (of which the distance can be modified, if so desired). I love that I can see who is at my door. There is a SLIGHT delay of approx 5 seconds to reach your cell phone, but, other than that, I am glad that I bought this. I have absolutely no regrets.

easy to install and good video. still trying to figure out the appropriate range setting so we dont get alerted for passing cars.

Works as advertised fun to check the front from many miles away. The motion sensor is a bit sensitive and sounds off all day. Super easy to install.

The ring door bell is easy to use and provides great security. Ring app can be added to any device and the front door can be monitored at all times.

This not only records and notifies when your doorbell is rung, but also has a motion detector for which you can set the range. I like this capability very much. The picture is clear, and I was able to keep my pre-existing door chime (I was not certain of this when I first looked at the product). There is a delay between when the doorbell rings and when I get the video on my phone, so when packages are delivered, I am usually looking at a front porch with no one there. This is my only "con" comment.

This wonderful gadget (RING) gives my family and I a piece of mind. After being broken into multiple time in the exact same manner…. Ring has a visual of our whole front door, driveway and path between the house and garage, ALWAYS allowing us to see who or what is there. The ability to See & Talk or whoever is there is worth its weight in gold. Did I mention the annual price of $30 bucks for the video service, wow!…. (I spend more than that in one sitting at the bar….) the Video quality is great for a 780p camera. I could go on and on, but I won't... Take a look at the product online.... You decide!

The Ring is awesome. Now I can monitor my front door and mailbox from things getting stolen when I’m at work. So many options and easy to set up!

Love my Ring. Picture is clear and it truly picks up a wide range of movement. Easy to install. Wish it were a bit smaller.

I love my ring! I can not only see who comes and goes in my cul- de-sac but I can get an idea of what's occurring at my house without having to call or text my husband. While I'm at work I can see if he leaves somewhere with the kids or that we have surprise company at the house. This way I know when I get home who is there are who is not. So far the only bad thing is around 3 the sun is right in front of our door and it tends to set off the ring a lot I guess because of shadows. Besides that I love it and highly recommend it!

The product works as described. Video quality is very good and audio excellent. It was easy to install and setup.
