The RING video doorbell is just the edge of tomorrow. With technology progressing rapidly, along with crime rates, the RING video doorbell can put you at ease, without having to even see someone in-person. Could be a bit easier to simply pop on an existing doorbell, but all-in-all, its pretty easy to install. There are instructional installation videos all over the internet, so there are many versions that you can choose from.

The Ring doorbell did take some effort for my husband to install it to our existing doorbell connection. Had to add some wood pieces in order to attach it. When we finally were able to get the Ring on it connected with our WiFi pretty well. Connection sometimes says good, other times poor. Motion is detected but seems delayed as delivery people are already walking away. So far we do like being able to see who was at the door.

This has been one of my better purchases in months this not only convenient but adds to the security of the house. Install was relitivly easy and using the existing doorbell wires it remains charged and uses the existing bell inside

I saw Ring on TV and at the time I was looking for something like this, so i did some research and found it at Best Buy, we brought it home and installed it in no time. I had a little problem with the video part but that was due to a problem with my old router, however the Ring support people were very helpful and had my video up and running in no time. The video is very clear and sharp and the audio is also very clear. I love love love this doorbell and I'm planning to get another for my back door.

OK, so I'm one of those guys that loves gadgets. The problem is most of the time the gadget is not as cool as I wanted it to be. Not so with the ring doorbell. This is by far one of the coolest gadget I've ever bought. Installation was even easier than I expected and it works flawlessly

Equipment is make of very poor materials and it’s not good for outdoors. It rust very easy and outer case start falling apart and cracking with sun and rain. Also, WiFi capacity is very bad for something that it has to be outside. You need to get a WiFi extender like right next to your door for it to work properly. Delay time from time bell rings and time that you can respond is too long. It works ok but very poorly.

I had been eyeing this product for awhile. I saw that it was on sale so I finally pulled the trigger. No matter where you are you get a notification letting you know someone is at your door. You can click it and it will immediately bring up the live video. I wish the camera was a little clearer but it does the job. I also dod buy the cheapest one so thay could play a part. You also can it a green phone bjttom that allows you to communicate with whoever is at the door. The only thing I have found I slightly had a problem with is you had to charge it out of the package. This took about 3 or 4 hours for a full charge. Installation was a breeze and it does not require you to already have a doorbell since it has a battery pack. You also can go into the app and see other people in your area that have had issues at their door. I would recommend this to anyone. I am already thinking of purchasing the spot light video camera to put on our garage.

Overall I am a big fan of the Ring device. It's simple to install and hook up. It works as promised with only two things that could be better. 1. The batter only lasted 6 weeks versus the year they claim. That's not good. I had to charge it and it's working again but they claim a year between charges if not attached to the doorbell wires. 2. The video / sound can be choppy at times It's a great product and I hope they improve it over time.

I really like this product and the camera is awesome. I just wish the motion and the software was better

Although it works well, my biggest complaint is the sensitivity. No mater if I set if for 5 feet or 20 feet it still cuts on at the same point, even catching the mail truck every day which is over 50 feet away. My only complaint is a lot of the time the sensor does not start recording until the person is at the device unless they walk really slow. Love the alerts and not bad for $30.00 a year

Easy to install and link to wifi. Works great has very good picture. App is excellent. Have already sold a friend on one.

I purchased this with the wifi extender/chime. Installed easily (for me in location without power to doorbell). App installed easily to cell. App did require me to change my router security from WEP to WA2, as WEP not supported. Wifi extender/chime is also outstanding and integrated easily. PC app also installed easily and provides for video playback/viewing. Not clear if after the 30 day free trial how much of this capability will be available.

Easy to install and set up. The quality of the camera is great, and the area setting range is impressive.
