The doorbell was easy to install. A little hiccup with initial configuration. The battery was dead initially so I had to charge overnight before configuring. Once charged it took a couple of tries to get it to link with the Android app. However once it was all done, it worked like a champ. I thought I would need an angle bracket from online to get the right view but it has such a wide angle lense that I do not need it. This is good so it could mount flat. Looks better that way. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is their is a delay making connection when I launch the app or doorbell is rung. Otherwise works great. I am able to see and speak to people while I am at work or see if someone came by (delivery) while I am out. My wife and I love it. Feel much safer having it!

Good basic door bell. Easy to set up but little bulky.

Awesome unit, both night and day vision are great. Really love that it monitors all movement and sends notifications. Any reviews stating the unit is laggy, may need to check their internet speeds. Plan on purchasing the yearly subscription. If you can afford a 200.00 doorbell, then 30.00 a year for 6 months of backed up cloud videos is a no brainier. Plus Ring will replace your doorbell if it is ever stolen. Can't beat it

Great Doorbell - Works very well. The quality of the picture is great. You will want to turn off the motion settings though, they would drive you nuts, as every time you walk in and out of the door it would send an alert to your phone. Not a big fan that you have to pay for the cloud storage - for a $200 product, it should come included. Also the battery only lasts about 2 weeks - if you have an existing powered doorbell, its great, but on battery, it's a pain having to remove, charge it for 12 hours, and put back up.

I think purchasing the ring camera doorbell is a good idea but first generation camera has poor quality as expected. I wanted to see if it was worth the money to buy the more expensive one (latest model). My next purchase will be the latest model of ring because seeing and talking to people at your door is amazing. Thanks Ring!

The doorbell was easy to setup and it works as expected. A surprise is the $3 monthly fee to store video from the bell on the manufacturers site.

I have had my Ring doorbell for a little over a month. It is so wonderful to know when someone is approaching the door before they get there! I love being able to talk and see the visitor without them seeing me. I originally purchased the Ring 2. I could not get it to work properly so I called the support line. My tech was outstanding! He concluded that my internet was not strong enough for the Ring 2. I exchanged it for the original Ring and it works great. The picture of the visitor is very clear. My only issue with the unit is that I am receiving some false motion notifications. I'm sure if I adjust the settings I can eliminate a lot of them. I love being able to set the perimeters. Thank you Ring for my new found peace of mind!!

Easy to install and download. Good range and picture

This is a great product. It was easy to set up per the instructions provided. A bit of planning to prep for the installation depending on how the wall on your house is. We have a brick wall so additional prep was needed to install Ring doorbell but not a huge issue. Overall, we like the product a lot and would recommend it.

This is a great security deterrent. I've had a few instances where I'm at work, and the motion is triggered. I've had a chance to talk in it and inquire what people want in front of my door. I'm thinking of getting the Ring stick up can for my man cave.

This was a wonderful purchase. the lag time is reasonable. It's so nice to be able to talk and see someone without having to run to the door. Picture is wonderful. Recommend this purchase to everyone in need of such a product

Easy to set up. Looks really good has great picture

Overall great product. Good price, arrived on time and as expected. Simple to install. Only issue is sometimes does not activate when activity is present (or too late and person is already almost out of picture)

I was hesitant in getting one of these Ring doorbells but when Black Friday rolled around the price point was worth jumping on. This doorbell camera is awesome. I have a better sense of security especially now around the holidays when people like to take packages. The video is clear and the sound is just as clear. I highly recommend this item to anyone!

Great doorbell ID camera. Easy to install and easy to operate.

Ring came up with a great idea and when Best Buy priced it at $99.99 it made sense to buy. Watches my front door for packages and activity. Of course a cat or squirrel sets it off too. The range can be set and sometimes light reflection off a car farther away will activate the motion detector, but glad I have it.
