Thanks to the slim size and handy base that allows screws at any placement you want, you can easily use the same screw holes from your current doorbell - AKA, no damage to the rental! Most deliveries don't ring my doorbell or knock, so having the person and package alert on has been a huge lifesaver for knowing when my shipments arrive. What's more, if need be I can use the device to speak with anyone at my door to let them know when I'll be home.

The iPhone interface is nice, the ability to turn off notifications is good, the ability to mark areas of the doorbell view as not motion active is very helpful. I am happy I bought this doorbell. I used it with the Ring chime as well and it is working well.

After a few modifications to doorbell wires . Everything went smoothly. And getting the ring camera to work on my wifi was very easy.

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is designed to work in many environments to provide you with peace of mind and security. If you're not able to successfully complete a setup, try rebooting your modem and/or router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, these devices like to be rebooted about once a month for optimal performance. To reboot these devices, follow the instructions below:
Unplug your router or model from its power supply (don't just turn it off).
If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Wait for your internet to be restored.
Confirm that your internet has been restored by connecting another device to your wifi network and trying to access a website, then repeat the setup process.
When you’ve tried everything else, and setting up your Ring device still isn’t succeeding, try performing a hard reset. To perform a hard reset on any Ring product, hold down the setup button for just over 15 seconds and then release it.

Setting up the online access is a nit cumbersome, but after that it's pretty straightforward.

Best Buy Geek Squad had to help with that. It was going off every time a car went by the house. We are 80 feet from the street.
