Not only is it amazing but at 30$ for the year for the subscription is a steal. It took me longer to find the fuse the doorbell was hooked up to then it did to install.

My husband and I purchased this device and its AWESOME! Clear view and comes with Alexa. Setup was very simple. If you don't have one we suggest you consider purchasing this device!

I feel safer and I trust that my Ring cameras will notify me if necessary. It was easy to install. I have no training, yet I’ve installed 6 Rings of various styles and had no issues.

After multiple attempts and dealing with Ring technical support, and trying all of the troubleshooting techniques, still unable to reconnect. I was sent a replacement. The replacement was a refurbished device. I was able to connect the new device without issue. After several weeks this device went offline. Again, as with the first device, multiple attempts to reconnect and trying all of the troubleshooting suggestions, this second device would not reconnect. This time the device which is hard wired, will repeatedly makes an audible statement, Welcome to Ring, the device did not connect(abbreviated version of statement made by device. The quality of the video and audio when the device was working was good. The problem is it is not working.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. Rest assured, we hear you and are here to offer you some help.
It sounds like the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus is not performing as expected. The Ring Wired Doorbell Plus requires a doorbell transformer rated at 16-24 VAC 50/60HZ, 10-40VA max. Some symptoms of insufficient power include not correctly ringing your existing internal doorbell, regularly losing connection to your wifi network, freezing up or shutting down during the ringtone sound after a button press, regularly shutting off (the white light on the front will turn off), freezing up during a live event, night vision doesn't work, or the doorbell working fine for a couple of events and then stopping working.
Below are some things to check to ensure your device is installed and powered properly:
1. Check if your doorbell is wired correctly and ensure the Ring Pro Power Kit has been connected to your in-home chime kit.
2. Configure your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus to ring with an in-home chime within the Ring app.
3. Check whether your existing internal chime kit is compatible with Ring Wired Doorbell Plus.
