The old one wouldn't work anymore. I installed the new one and what a difference it made. It was easy to install, has a better signal that connects easier to the wifi. Picture and sound comes through great. Way better than the first gen it replaced.

The picture quality is excellent even at night. It can be connected to Alexa, who answers the doorbell (quite amusing), or you can use your own voice.

Feel Safe with a Ring Doorbell

Had some difficulty setting up a shared user but got it done after some trial and error. Overall very happy with the product.
