Throw the instructions away and just use the QR Code to watch the video installation. It is very good. I had a time getting the cover off the thing initially, but kept applying enough pressure to swing the bottom up and forward and it came off.

I have bought 2other name brand ones and this wired verson is so much easier , no taking it off to charge or need it to have caught someone but oops the battery was to low. I have it hooked to a cloud server and can access the data as far back as i want from anywhere....

Unfortunately, it only worked with our existing doorbell one time, the very first time the button was pushed. Currently, it rings at the actual doorbell, to the person who is pushing the button but not inside the house.

Can’t believe I waited so long to invest in one . I love not having to run to the door everytime someone appears . I’ve been speaking to delivery personnel and asking them to leave the items in designated areas until I can get to it .

It only took a short time to install and notifies me when delivery people come to the house when I'm gone. Just this week I would have missed an important delivery when the delivery people did not call me ahead of time as planned. But, when they rang my Ring, I answered, told them to wait a minute and that my neighbor would be right there.

It sounds like your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Wired Doorbell Plus functioning as intended. If your device is unresponsive, try pressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds. Follow the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the doorbell to your network. To reconnect a Ring Wired Doorbell Plus to your wifi network: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (≡). Tap "Devices" and select the doorbell you'd like to reconnect to wifi. Tap the "Device Health" tile. Under "Network," tap "Change Network" and follow the prompts in the app. Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in "Device Health" to confirm it has successfully reconnected.
