The install went pretty easy in my newly constructed home. A bit fiddley but nothing that was too hard to do. The app needs work. It is a pain to try and set the motion detection zone on your phone screen.

Was a bit surprised that the first one didn't last longer, but it gradually failed over the last 6 months. Would only work occasionally, then eventually not at all. At first, it was the doorbell that wouldn't work, then finally the video didn't work either. Replaced it, hoping that the new one lasts better. If not, moving on to a different brand. Also, be aware that you will need to pay for monthly storage if you intend to view any video not in real time, or to be able to send video to anyone else. That fee is about $4 for a single device, but can go higher if you're dealing with multiple devices.
