Having the peace of mind that you purchased the Ring Video Doorbell Pro for is critical.

All of our doorbells and cameras are designed to be a fairly simple, DIY (do-it-yourself) type of installation. We strive to include all needed parts, tools, and instructions to make the process seamless for our customers. However, in some installation instances and unique home environments, assistance from a qualified professional or someone familiar with installing Ring products may be best.

Ring Community launched in March 2019 to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our customers. This peer-to-peer forum allows our neighbors to share their feedback and experiences. Verifying that your Ring Doorbell Pro has a strong wifi signal is always a good step, as there could be interference with the signal. Additionally, it's important to make sure your Doorbell Pro is receiving sufficient power so it can perform properly. Our top priority at Ring is to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience with our products and services. We truly value your feedback, because it helps us improve not only the product from a consumer standpoint but also our standards of service.

We do notify our customers about the optional Ring Protect Plan on Best Buy's site under the device specifications, on our website, in your Ring App during the free 30 day trial of our cloud plan, as well as in an email after a successful setup of a Ring device. While subscribed to one of our Protect Plans, it allows you to access videos of every ring, motion and live view event. Without this service, you will still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to the live view feature.

Ring Community was launched to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our neighbors. This online forum is divided into four categories: Product Boards, Ring Updates, Tips + Tricks, and a Moderators’ Corner. The Product Boards are where you can begin new topics with your questions or feedback; there is also a search option which helps you find topics that were already posted by other neighbors. The Ring Wired Doorbell Plus is water-resistant and rated for temperatures from -5°F to 120°F. Your device can withstand outdoor use and contact with water under certain conditions. The Ring app is designed to be a reliable method of communication between you and your Ring Video Doorbell Wired. If the app is suggesting you sign up for one of our optional Ring Protect Plans, you can tap the banner and be directed to our pages to learn more about the plans. It's important to note that a Ring Protect Plan is not required to use the standard features on your doorbell.

We understand your desire to be able to close the banner within the app should you decide not to subscribe to a plan.
