I love this doorbell cam. It detects person and package correctly. My only minor complain is that the mechanical chime sometime won't ring after some time of first press. Also not sure what's the use of 3d motion detection.

We got this to replace an older version that was fried in a storm. The unit functions as intended.

I am so glad to have this Ring Doorbell! I see who is at my door and decide if I want to answer it. When packages are delivered I know and can get them off the front porch right away. I also like the fact I can talk to the person on my porch if need be.

The camera foodtage looks like a circle out of a fish eye lens, so you have a slightly large field of view. The video quality is a slight improvement, and the audo from the speakers sound much better. I would only upgrade from the first Doorbell Pro if the sound quality and video quality bother you. It drove me crazy, so i bought the new doorbell pro.

I purchased the Ring Pro2 and chime to replace and old, inefficient battery operated doorbell. I hired an electrician to install as I didn’t know I’d the transformer needed to be replaced. Turns out I did not need it replaced and they installed it in under 10 minutes. Activating both the doorbell and chime was super easy. Be sure to look at all the materials for the QR code for easy sign up. Once activated I received an email for a free 2nd switch plate too!

Love our ring ! It’s a must have! Helps with all kinds of things!
