I installed it to replaced my old doorbell and it's easy. I just followed the Intruction and it works perfect. The only thing that is challenging is I add a cover plate and need to drill the concrete wall. But luckily I did it.

Have had several power issues and reboots that nobody at ring can seem to solve. Picture quality is nicer, audio is way better, but overall just not reliable at all compare to years of problem free use of the Ring Pro. Seems now that they are using a pro power kit v3 they seem to be maybe requiring more power than before. I even have the official Ring transformer but it will not work. You also get way less stuff in the box compared to the original Ring Pro. Less tools, less face plates. It doesn't seem like your buying a premium product as it did before. I would be happy with it if it worked.

Great Purchase, But…

Upgraded from Ring Pro 1 to Ring Pro 2

Old Ring Pro stopped working (it may just have needed a firmware or security update). I like that this has a wider view so I can see packages and it has a little better resolution. I wish they had an upgrade rebate or discount.

I would recommend Ring, easy to install, easy to set-up. Only negative is their monthly monitoring fee has gone up.

This is a known issue. Its resolved by adding a transistors ( see photo) no official fix statement by the company but easy work around on all forms and Google.
