We purchased this doorbell after lengthy conversation with a Best Buy Associate and have been impressed with its many features. The video clarity is very good and the night vision is as well. The geofencing is fairly easy to set up and adjust so that you don’t get too many notifications. Installation went pretty well, but our house being stucco made it slightly more difficult. Found that the included anchors don’t work that well in that type of surface. Next step is Alexa integration, but that will have to wait until I replace the doorbell transformer. It quit working and I have ordered a Ring certified one.

We upgraded our ring doorbell from the battery version to the hard-wired version, and it is 100% better. The picture clarity is excellent and communication with package carriers and neighbors has been drastically improved. We had an issue with package thieves last holiday season, so we feel more prepared with our upgraded ring pro.

Love this Ring Doorbell & especially the ability to set a recording that announces to anyone approaching my house that they are being recorded. It has been a deterrent especially to those who shouldn’t be at my door as they fail to read the “No Solicitors” sign! Have already been told by UPS, Fed Ex & some Amazon drivers that they love the message!! The mobile app is so easy to use & monitor activity. Easy to set up notifications as well.

This ring doorbell works great. They were able to add a little wedge piece that shows the door perfectly. You can adjust the viewing area and notifications. The Geek Squad did a fantastic job of installing and setting up my ring doorbell.

The camera on this thing is pretty good and the install was easy enough but I also ended up having to upgrade my transformer to get enough power to my chime. Take that into account if you buy one of these. Also after living with this for a few months I ended up paying the subscription fee for the video recording which is great but I wish I could record locally. Finally I have found that because like other cameras the whole system depend on the alerts first going to the Ring servers then my phone that there is a noticeable lag in the time the person arrives to the door and when I am notified. Not a big deal but some people won't want guests to wait to be acknowledged.

This Ring Doorbell is a fantastic addition to my home. It works seamlessly with Alexa, providing clear notifications when someone is at the door or when a package arrives. The video quality is excellent, and the motion detection is reliable. However, I wish it could be integrated with Google Home as well

I replaced a video doorbell from Vivant, which consistently lost buttons and had issues. Vivant wanted a huge amount of money to replace with their new version, so I did a bunch of research and chose this Ring doorbell. I chose the hardwired version, since I was replacing the hardwired Vivant version. I was able to mount it and install it myself. I have been very happy with it so far. I haven't spent a lot of time in the app, which has plentiful options for settings and customization. I'm considering getting a camera for the driveway, so I will likely spend more time with the app once I do.

Great device for added security. Was easy to set up, the app tells you step by step how to wire everything up. The only issue I had was the initial setup was a little difficult and I had to start over a couple times, but other than that great doorbell with good video quality. I also like the fact it uses the existing doorbell chime so I didn’t have to get the chime add on.

Great option for extra security and keeping things safe

The doorbell was a little bit wider than the one I had before, but it was easy to install with the extra wires included. It did take a little bit to get used to the app but now it’s easy to use. I do get a little tired of getting all the request to subscribe.

Works great.. and the clarity of the camera is amazing. The wedge helps give you a much better angle of view. The birds eye view is also an awesome new feature.

I replaced a competitor's doorbell camera with this one. This one has few false notifications, the video quality is excellent, and the IOS app is easy to use. The Ring camera has not lost connectivity with my router since installation since it was within ten feet. My previous doorbell camera lost connectivity several times a day. I would recommend this camera for wired doorbell systems.

Ensure you have power source to wire up this doorbell camera; otherwise, you might not able to use it. Once you have the doorbell camera installed, you manage viewing and usage of it through the ring app

Last doorbell you will need. Gets the job done. Easy install. Get the wired version. I dislike replacing the batteries

Simple to install physically, but the program was a little difficult for older, non technical people like myself to program. I had to wait until i had my younger daughters and older granddaughter at the house to help. You could have made it a little more senior friendly! But i love it now that it is running!!!!!

Excellent door bell by ring I would highly recommended to anyone with a wired doorbell.

I've tried online purchases of my new ring doorbell, but received ones that were not what I wanted. One visit to Best Buy and the purchase of a Ring Wired Doorbell Pro Smart Wifi Video Doorbell, and I had what I wanted at the price I wanted. The video and audio are great when I get a notice on my phone that it has activated.

Excellent for my home. I love this thing. It will give me alerts as well as allow me for two-way talking when I need it. Definitely a must for all homes.
