Ring door bell

I like that I can select the areas the camera records. I like that I can speak to the person at the door. This is perfect for security and help manage my deliveries and home repair providers.

It did take a little bit to get used to the app but now it’s easy to use. I do get a little tired of getting all the request to subscribe.

Love the pre roll recording also. Have mine plugged in using the adapter and its the best investment ive made when it comes to home security.

I how have installed 4 of these for my friends and neighbors. Some have also added the camera to their security system. What I like most is the audio feature where I can talk to the person that rang my doorbell when I am not home.

It paired very quickly with our WiFi and the Ring app. as well. Great picture and sound quality. Easy to interact with some standing at your door via the app.

Been n service a couple days. Great video in the day and adequate for our needs at night. Like getting notified when packages are delivered. Great view top to bottom to identify people and packages.

Also quickly installed app and set up in less than 30 minutes. Make sure you have correct electric current (amps) before you install. The newest model requires slight more power than prior model. Clear picture and very responsive alerts. Very happy with purchase.

We had one that failed after six years of use, and this is a replacement. Great picture/video quality, love the ability to adjust the motion detection area and how even the slightest motion starts recording.

Installation was so easy, I just followed the step by step and was done in about half an hour. Audio and image quality are top of the line. Definitely a great buy, 100% recommended.

It alerts me when someone is at the door or in front of the house.... wonderful if someone is at home or not. It is a wonderful to have for security. I would highly recommend to all.

Doesn’t make any ring when connected to regular door bell Chime, worked once connecting to refrigerator and then lost connection. Would recommend if you buy ring chime, but not to existing door bell chime.

The clarity is very noticeable . The head to toe view is an improvement, too. Now I can see packages that are placed right against the door. And the color night vision is a nicetie that I didn't know I needed.

I have a wired Ringcam from a few years ago that was damaged by a careless worker. This unit has no tangible improvements that matter. It records fewer cars, even though i liked Ring recording cars in my quiet street, and its befuddled by sprinkler, which the old doorbell ignored. The old doorbell had power and battery, while this is smaller - but only powered. Finally, the view is too wide so lots of video is wasted recording brick walls and bushes. This works just fine and looks bettee, but if size doesnt matter save the money and go one gen back.

It sounds like your Ring Wired Doorbell Pro is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Wired Doorbell Pro functioning as intended. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Motion Zones can help you better detect motion in the areas that matter the most to you and reduce the number of unwanted motion alerts. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently."

If anything it is too sensitive Vince I had to adjust its sensitivity down because it picked up street traffic, which is a good thing
