It can loudly announce when someone approaches. Awesome integration and coverage. For people who travel a lot it really will give you peace of mind!

Even after having the extra stuff installed from Ring the indoor bell transformer says low... makes no sense... but works with ring app and alexa in the house just fine

I had my Handiman install it for me and worked like a dream. I purchased the plan where I can view the recording for one week. I feel so safe and secure now. The image is crystal clear and the audio is great.

Faces are much clearer farther away, and has better wifi connection so i dont miss anything when im away from home.

The video is quite good, and it stores video reliably and notifies you pretty promptly. I wish there were a way that it could know not to notify you that, well, you were at your own front door though, as that is actually really annoying, but other than that I'm very happy to have my ring.

Good on phone instructions, once I got a person that could speak better Inglish. First person was too hard to understand. I wasn't able to finish the connection to the cell phone without help. Instruction for physical installation was good. Connecting it to the phone was not easy.

We are happy to include more information here on how to connect new devices to your Ring account in the Ring app:
You can scan the QR code on your Ring device or product packaging via the Ring app.
Tap the menu (≡) on the left side of your Dashboard in the Ring app.
Tap Set up a Device and select Doorbells.
If you don’t see the QR code, try removing your video doorbell’s faceplate.
Center the code in the phone camera’s view at the bottom half of the screen.
When the code is recognized, a green square will appear and a pop-up with your device image detected.
If you experience issues scanning the QR code, please follow these steps:
Move your camera closer or further from the QR code to help it focus.
Once your camera finds focus, hold it steady for a few seconds.
If your camera won’t focus, clean your camera lens, move to a well-lit area, and try again.
If you continue to experience issues, please follow these additional steps:
Tap Other Options below the scanner.
Select Can’t Scan the QR code.
Confirm by selecting Enter code manually (this corresponds to PIN code digits underneath the QR code).
Find your device in the list.
Enter your five digit PIN which can be found below the QR code.

Love knowing what's going on around my home

I also love knowing who comes in my yard when I'm not at home. Picture also shows up on my apple watch when away from home so i dont have to get out my phone to see.

I had a first generation ring doorbell and it worked well but when it finally quit working I was very pleased with the upgraded ones. They have much better features and clarity.

Recording is 4 of 5 as it misses entire events but not often. Camera quality is very good. There is a lag in speaking through the doorbell (maybe WiFi issues) but it still gets the job done.

We are happy to share with you some information regarding the missed motion and two-way talk concerns that you mentioned in your review. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently."
We are happy to share some tips with you to help you troubleshoot why your Ring device may be experiencing a dalay with the two-way talk feature. Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including capturing audio. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then Devices. Choose your Ring Video Doorbell Wired. Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Try moving your wifi router closer to your Ring device.

Great quality video. App works great. I only wish the basic subscription included 2 or 3 device instead of just 1. For 2 or more devices you must go to the next level subscription.

It rings when a person or animal comes to my door. My previous one would pick up motion from moths and rang too often at night. It is easy to install and set up.

The only downside is that after 30 days which i guess is the free trial period you gotta get a subscription or you lose the rewind feature.
