Captures clear video of all motion at my door, including from my front door to mailbox and driveway. Also like the Neighbors' option for neighbors posting crimes, etc., in surrounding neighborhoods.

Wish it lasted longer, but it worked consistently up until the moment it died. Works great, and is reliable. Will continue to use these.

So convenient to look at phone and see the activity at my front door. No more opening door to see who might be there. The notifications from around the area are great.

You're probably better off finding one that isn't selling your info, but this is what we had before, so it was easier to get this one. They all do the same thing. Go by your budget.

We also want to assure you that your safety and security is our absolute top priority. As a result, one of the features we’ve implemented is mandatory two-step verification. This added layer of security helps prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to your Ring account, even if they have your username and password. We’ve also built the Control Center within the Ring App. You can access this to view and manage important privacy and security settings, including Shared Users and Authorized Client Devices.

Crystal clear video and sensitive to the slightest movements. Hired help to hook up to my home doorbell. But I know others who have done it themselves.

The sound from the microphone is clear and can be quite loud for those that may be hard of hearing. All around it was a good purchase.

App is user friendly. Had to purchase a Ring chime as mechanical chime originally would not work after set up of Ring doorbell.

We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the video quality concern you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to person detection. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. Accuracy in motion detection can be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts," please follow these steps:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap "Motion Settings."
Tap "Smart Alerts."
Tap "Enable Feature."
Tap "Continue."
Select the notification options that you want for "Person" and "Other Motion."
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings, tap "Done."
