Easy installation, easy set up on you phone app, Even the battery powered Ring I had previously purchased worked extremely well, stayed connected to my Wi-Fi and the battery lasted for a considerable time!

Ring Pro Caution Incompatibility Issues.

Unless your existing door bell transformer has the required voltage to run the Ring Pro (more than likely not)you’ll need to buy the Ring transformer to replace the old one and more than likely have a qualified electrician install it. I just wish the Best Buy in store sales person would have advised us of the incompatibility. Also the Ring support team was of no help. My electrician figured it out with help from the mobil app although the app was inconsistent.

If power were to go down and someone made the mistake of entering my premises all of my indoor cameras are either on UPS or onboard batteries. I don't find the 3D motion detection to be necessary but if it upgrades the sensors then I'm happy to say I have it. The big plus for me is the 5ghz band on this camera. Virtually no lag, maybe half a second.
