The features and technology provided by the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We would like to ensure you are getting the most from your device.
It sounds like you are concerned about storing your video in the Ring app. The default setting to store videos in your Ring account in the US is 60 days, but you can customize your settings for shorter or longer periods, up to 180 days. Some features, like 24/7 Recording may have shorter video storage times. Storage time for each device you have will need to be set individually. To change your video storage time, please follow these steps in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap on Control Center.
Tap on Video and Snapshot Storage.
Tap on Video and Snapshot Storage Time.
Next to the device, select Edit and choose a video storage option (may vary by location).

The Ring pro 2 is awesome. Gives my wife the comfort and safety needed. Also reaaly like its recording technique. The recording starts a few seconds before some one approaches so you capture the person as soon as they ce into view.

Clarity of the camera is good and the response time if much faster. Replace the pro model and response time from button push to notification was super slow. Easy to install.
