Only if my home builders have designed the location of the hard wired bell. Even with that odd inclination and pillars hiding the base of doorbell provided with ring helps with maximum view.

Installation was a little tricky to get the range working properly. We have used it for about a month and love the notifications when getting deliveries. Highly recommended!

The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
With a Ring Home Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

The connection time has improved. Audio is louder, which is an important upgrade. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the pitcher clarity is not as good as the Google Nest. The Google Nest doorbell also continuously records.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We would like to ensure you are getting the most from your device.
It sounds like you are concerned about storing your video in the Ring app. The default setting to store videos in your Ring account in the US is 60 days, but you can customize your settings for shorter or longer periods, up to 180 days. Some features, like 24/7 Recording may have shorter video storage times. Storage time for each device you have will need to be set individually. To change your video storage time, please follow these steps in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap on Control Center.
Tap on Video and Snapshot Storage.
Tap on Video and Snapshot Storage Time.
Next to the device, select Edit and choose a video storage option (may vary by location).
