He lacked basic information and knowledge leaving me to pretty much figure out on my own. However went to the store Manager was Great, sent a new crew out ASAP!

The only issue was when connected to our doorbell chime, it would cause the transformer to buzz. It was very noticeable that there was a buzzing on our wall. So I rewired to an wall power adapter.

If you've already checked that the chime kit is compatible, I recommend checking for wiring variables such as spliced, thin, or old wiring. Please also ensure there is no diode being used, especially if you are using a mechanical chime kit. Depending on Video Doorbell model, there should also be a chime selection setting in your Doorbell's device settings. This will allow you to choose what type of chime is in your home. If the wrong type is selected, this could be the cause of the humming noise.
