Night vision is not too good

If the night vision isn't clear, it may require some troubleshooting or adjustments to the angle of your Doorbell, especially if there is a wall or other object that could be obstructing the infrared lights on your Doorbell. It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to Night Vision. Ring Wired Doorbell Pro is a wired video doorbell that offers enhanced Head-to-Toe HD+ Video and other features such as Alexa Greetings (for Ring Protect subscribers), 3D Motion Detection, Audio+, and Bird's Eye View. Ring’s premium Wired Doorbell Pro allows you to check in on your front door anytime, from anywhere, and see or speak to visitors at your door in real-time using the Ring app or Alexa-enabled device.
To ensure that the Night Vision feature works as intended, make sure your Wired Doorbell Pro's infrared light is toggled on in the Ring app.The infrared light control is in your Ring app under Video Settings. To turn the Color Night Vision on or off, follow these instructions:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the device you want to adjust.
Tap Device Settings.
Tap Video Settings.
Toggle Color Night Vision on or off.
Although rare, there have been instances where a Ring device can experience black, pink, and other distorted video quality like night vision video captured during daytime hours. Here are a few things to try.
Check your Ring device's signal strength.
If your Ring device is far from your wifi router, it may be experiencing connection or video issues.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good, red is poor.
Reboot your Ring Doorbell or Camera in the Ring app.
In order to reboot your Ring device, it must be connected to wifi.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the Menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Doorbell or Camera you wish to reboot.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll down to Reboot This Device.
Give your device a few moments to start back up.

Also, It didn't come with the correct mounting bracket. It came with a side angle bracket as if I was mounting it in a corner.

Rest assured, we are still here to help you resolve your Floodlight Camera’s night vision concerns and ensure you have a security device you can rely on.
Certain models of Ring devices have a night vision feature that allows you to see through the camera in low light conditions. By using infrared light, the camera can create a black and white image that is then beamed to the Live View in your app. By turning the color night vision feature on, the camera will use whatever ambient light is available to try and create a “false color” image in your Live View. This lets you get a better sense of what’s happening in the image by creating a false sense of color depth. I had high expectations for this Brand

I went through 5 different ones two transformers and 5 electrician visits, I ended up going with Arlo but the video stinks, but the audio works and it hasn’t burned out so far so good!

We are here today to provide you with solutions that will assist you in finding the best device settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to motion detection and video quality. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. It is designed to detect motion up to 30 feet from where the camera is mounted. We recommend mounting the doorbell no higher than 5 feet from the ground. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting.
Ring devices require high-speed internet to bring you crisp, clear video and audio. Poor network connectivity can affect the performance of your Ring device. We are happy to share some troubleshooting steps to help you diagnose and fix common video issues that you may experience with Ring doorbells and cameras.
Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. In addition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable.
Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI. Turn off your mobile device's cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device. Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (☰). Tap “Devices.” Select your device. Trigger an event on your Ring doorbell. This could mean pressing the button on a doorbell or activating the motion sensors on a camera. Answer the event and examine the resulting video.
We have listed some possible outcomes from this test here:
1. The footage is crisp and clear.
If your video appears good when next to the router, the issue may be caused by a disruption in between your router and your Ring device’s normal location. To fix this, try moving your device closer to the router or extending your wifi signal with a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro.
2. The footage is heavily pixelated.
If you’re seeing heavy pixilation, even next to the router, this may be due to slow wifi speeds.

Worked for 3 weeks

Lots of bandwidth but these devices were added and now internet goes out daily. Had to pair household devices to my ring cellular backup just for kid to do homework and ended up costing us over $100 im cellular backup fees. Disconnected ring and network issues went away. Buyers beware...

Having a consistent and reliable wifi source for the device to connect to is important. This ensures that all visitors are captured, and you don't have to walk through multiple setups to reconnect the device.
If you have a continuous problem with your device disconnecting from wifi or a weak signal and your router is behind a couch, or in a closet, or otherwise physically obstructed, try moving your router. In this case, we may suggest purchasing a Ring Chime Pro. The Chime Pro acts as a wifi extender as well as an audible doorbell chime. When you are reconnecting a device that has disconnected from wifi, you can connect to the Chime Pro Network instead of selecting your home wifi network, which can boost performance if there is a significant distance between your router and the Ring device.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. The Ring Wired Doorbell Pro is designed to work with your home's wifi network and is compatible with b/g/n wifi networks operating on 2.4 or 5GHz frequencies. If you're receiving a 'Setup did not complete' message and cannot finish setup, it could be due to one of these common causes of setup failures:
* Your Ring device is too far from your wifi router. Ideally, your router should be within 20 feet of your Ring device.
* There's a possible problem with your internet connection.
* There's a possible issue related to your wifi modem or router.
Make sure your wifi router is off the floor.
Walls, floors, and furniture can interfere or weaken your router’s wireless signal. Choose an elevated, central, open location.
Make sure you're entering the correct password. Passwords are case sensitive and do not include spaces. Your network password can often be found on the bottom or side of your router.
Wifi passwords are case and special character (such as *,@,$, or #) sensitive. Double check letter capitalization and placement.
If you haven't changed your wifi password since your router was installed, it may be on a sticker on the underside of your router.
Connect other devices to your wifi network using your last remembered password to verify it is still correct.
If you have multiple networks or a wifi extender, confirm you are connecting to the correct one.
Make sure to connect to the 2.4 GHz network, not 5 GHz. All Ring devices can connect to 2.4 GHz, while only select Ring devices have Dual-Band Wifi to be able to connect to either.
If you’re still having issues, try holding down the reset button on top of the camera for 20 seconds. Before you reset your device, make sure to download any videos in your account.
If you are attempting to connect to a community wifi network, you may need to reach out to your internet service provider to manually add the MAC ID of the Ring device to allow it to connect to your wifi.

Service disaster!

I wanted the system installed!! It was a month Delay re-scheduling twice for install. On day… Finally of installation… geek squad argues with Consultant… did not want to get on a ladder and abruptly Left! Stayed home 2 ( 5 hr. Window!) days of work For install!!!! Gave up for a full refund.
