Posted .Hi Steph. Having Motion Detection notifying you in a reasonable amount of time is very important. Often times, when you are having slow detection, your Motion Settings need to be adjusted or your RSSI is too low. Doesn't work with VPN

Ring customer service suggested me to turn that off or connect Ring to a network without VPN. As I think having a VPN or not, should be consumer's decision. I am looking for alternatives.

Waste of time and money.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely will not work when you need it to. Once a week it has to be unwired due to it being offline. Hook it back up and it only works for around a week. Repeat over and over.

Posted .Hi KevinS, I understand it can be frustrating to deal with connectivity issues on your Doorbell Pro 2. Since your Doorbell is disconnecting from the wifi frequently, it may not have a strong or stable wifi signal. Try checking the RSSI on the Device Health page. We have more information on that here bit.ly/3MtmQgF. If the RSSI is high, improving the signal should prevent frequent wifi disconnections. It sounds like your Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is not functioning as intended. Having the proper power supply is vital for the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 to work. It must be hardwired and requires a transformer rated at 16–24 VAC, 30–40 VA max, and 50–60 Hz. Always use caution when handling electrical wiring. Installation by a qualified electrician may be required in your area.
