The installation is very easy, perhaps fifteen minutes. The picture is excellent, very sharp. Likewise the “birdseye view” is a good feature. I recommend spending the extra cost for this latest ring doorbell.

Like the title says, daylight video is good but when day turns to night is where it goes downhill. Picture it way too dark , but when you turn off color vision , it's better. Overall it's good very good doorbell that's married to a great user friendly app.

The video is excellent and the GPS feature allows you to limit the motion detection area. Using the GPS feature I was able to eliminate the motion detector from picking up passing cars

This version 2, lives up to its billing. Great clarity and very responsive as integrated with the Ring app. Their technical support is also strong, they were quick to answer the phone and quite knowledgeable. Configuration can take a little bit of time but because it's quite granular, it's also very useful. My only complaint is that it's designed to mount vertically on a wall. It should also be designed to mount upside down under the eaves of a house. Then you would have more versatility and how you position the lights in the camera.

This was easy to install and is an important addition to the safety of my family and property.
