You're probably better off finding one that isn't selling your info, but this is what we had before, so it was easier to get this one. They all do the same thing. Go by your budget.

It sounds like you are have some concern about how Ring handles customer information. We want to assure you that Ring deos not sell personal information to third parties. We also want to assure you that your safety and security is our absolute top priority. As a result, one of the features we’ve implemented is mandatory two-step verification. This added layer of security helps prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to your Ring account, even if they have your username and password. We’ve also built the Control Center within the Ring App. You can access this to view and manage important privacy and security settings, including Shared Users and Authorized Client Devices.

I have the 1 gig speed and everything else seems to be working great so not exactly sure what the issue was but when installing the ring doorbell it works great. I have an alexa home mainly so it is working great.

Here’s the thing this doorbell is great, but there are so many options to it and you have to pay for a subscription. We loved our old doorbell as there were no fees and the ease of use. I think we will love it once we understand all the options better.
