    I love the notifications on Alexa but honestly the night vision needs to be worked on. It’s terrible! Ring should make better resolution cameras

      It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to Night Vision. Ring Wired Doorbell Pro is a wired video doorbell that offers enhanced Head-to-Toe HD+ Video and other features such as Alexa Greetings (for Ring Protect subscribers), 3D Motion Detection, Audio+, and Bird's Eye View. Ring’s premium Wired Doorbell Pro allows you to check in on your front door anytime, from anywhere, and see or speak to visitors at your door in real-time using the Ring app or Alexa-enabled device.

      To ensure that the Night Vision feature works as intended, make sure your Wired Doorbell Pro's infrared light is toggled on in the Ring app.The infrared light control is in your Ring app under Video Settings. To turn the Color Night Vision on or off, follow these instructions:
      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the Menu (☰).
      Tap Devices.
      Select the device you want to adjust.
      Tap Device Settings.
      Tap Video Settings.
      Toggle Color Night Vision on or off.

      Although rare, there have been instances where a Ring device can experience black, pink, and other distorted video quality like night vision video captured during daytime hours. Here are a few things to try.

      Check your Ring device's signal strength.
      If your Ring device is far from your wifi router, it may be experiencing connection or video issues.
      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the Menu (☰).
      Tap Devices.
      Select the Ring device you would like to test.
      Tap on the Device Health tile.
      Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
      The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good, red is poor.

      Reboot your Ring Doorbell or Camera in the Ring app.

      In order to reboot your Ring device, it must be connected to wifi.

      Open the Ring app.
      Tap the Menu (☰).
      Tap Devices.
      Select the Doorbell or Camera you wish to reboot.
      Tap on the Device Health tile.
      Scroll down to Reboot This Device.
      Give your device a few moments to start back up.

    I was less than satisfied with this… I had high expectations especially with the name RING! I went through 5 different ones two transformers and 5 electrician visits, I ended up going with Arlo but the video stinks, but the audio works and it hasn’t burned out so far so good!

    Garbage - Cant withstand heat from sunlight !!!!

    GARBAGE - Direct Sunlight at 3PM - 6PM, the doorbell will shutoff because of Overheat issue, this is a Ring issue ever since the very fist ring, still can't fix this, its cause they use cheap plastic that cant resist the heat from the sun.... make sure you have good shade or buy a shroud or do something or this thing will just keep shutting off. $200 piece of garbage.

      It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Extreme temperatures and other conditions may cause your Ring Video Doorbell to overheat. When this happens, you’ll see an error message in the Ring app that says: (Your Device) is trying to cool down. This helps keep your device safe and will result in temporarily reduced video quality. If the temperature continues to rise, your device will turn off automatically to prevent damage.

      If you’re a Level Lock owner and your compatible Ring Wired Doorbell Pro or Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is trying to cool down, Amazon Sidewalk network may be turned off temporarily. As a result, your Level Lock may appear offline in the Ring app. If your Level Lock does appear offline in the Ring app due to overheating, simply wait until your Ring device returns to a normal operating temperature to access and control your lock through the Ring app. The lock itself remains fully operational during this time, and you can use the Level app to lock or unlock it if you're within Bluetooth range (about 30 feet). If you need further assistance, we recommend contacting Level.

    ring doorbell was defective. the button on the side to reset the device was not pressable. best buys return policy is so short, i couldn't return it.

    It was a miserable experience with Beat Buy and all Products were returned for a FULL REFUND! ** This was not a product issue with RING! I wanted the system installed!! It was a month Delay re-scheduling twice for install. On day… Finally of installation… geek squad argues with Consultant… did not want to get on a ladder and abruptly Left! Stayed home 2 ( 5 hr. Window!) days of work For install!!!! Gave up for a full refund.

    Shuts down if installed in direct sunlight..gets too hot...also discovered that it is only good to +5 in the winter.. temp at this location could drop to 10/15 or even 20 below

    Came with some sort of artifact in the lens that won’t wipe away. Would love to swap out for a proper working doorbell but seems Best Buy only allows return and rebuy.

    Incompetent Shipping and Customer Support

    Item was never shipped. It's marked as "Delivery Cancelled, Package was Already Delivered" and customer support is incapable of helping and refuse to issue a refund. Do not order from Best Buy unless you want to lose money and not receive your order.
