It works so great I wish I would have brought one for the home that I am moving from. It was very easy to set up and manipulate. I will be expanding my Ring system through the rest of the new house.

Best doorbell we have had.

More adjustments and controls to fit our needs. It would shut down at first, but it was due to low voltage. Their repair people came out (at a fee) and installed a new transformer in the attic and it worked fine after that except it went out one more time and the repair people came out under warranty and did a reset of the doorbell. It's been great ever since. Very pleased.

The camera quality is good but the motion sensors get activated a lot even on the lowest settings.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely assist you with this today, and we are confident we can find the correct settings for your home’s environment.
It sounds like your device is not detecting motion as expected. This camera uses adjustable motion detection and runs on passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. If you do not wish to receive notifications for motion events, simply toggle off the "Motion Alerts" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. You can adjust three preset motion zones and their distances under the "Motion Settings" tab on the device's page in the Ring app. Additionally, you can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is picking up too much motion, we recommend lowering the "Motion Sensitivity" under the "Motion Settings" tab. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment. This also includes changing the "Motion Frequency" to "Regularly" or "Periodically" in the Ring app.
Accuracy in motion detection can also be improved by enabling the "Smart Alerts" feature for people only in your Ring app. To enable "Smart Alerts", please follow these steps:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap "Motion Settings."
Tap "Smart Alerts."
Tap "Enable Feature."
Tap "Continue."
Select the notification options that you want for "Person" and "Other Motion."
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.

Good value and good product

Coupling this product with an echo show 8 means they no longer have to attempt the veey long walk from anynof the patios or the den or family room to answer the door. Wiring was a bit cumbersome but once hooked up this product performs very well and the video quality and sound are quite good. Only complaint is that this shoukd cone eith the angled piece necessary for side mounting if its needed. Other color plates also should be an option without having to buy additional colors.

Haven't had anymore "problems" since I got the Ring. I placed the Ring sticker that came with the doorbell in the sidelight at my door and appreciated the free color case offered by Ring. I also purchased the Ring yard sign and feel it stands out to offer more security. Thank you Ring and Best Buy!
