This version is a significant upgrade over the original. As an added bonus, all of the original mounting screws were exactly the same so making the swap was extremely easy and extremely quick.

We had no previous wiring in our home for a doorbell. Had to purchase separately an inside power source as our electrician indicated there is a known problem with the translators burning out. No issues with current configuration.
