You don't have to start with the previous title, you can just jump right in to this one. I would recommend going back, but this is just as fun.

one of my favorite games of all time. i'm never tired of it and can't wait for the next and final installment coming out later this year

Awesome game. Great blend of puzzle and first person shooter gaming. Great job of pacing. You will want to get 100% completion on game is that fun.

I’m loving this Younger Laura Croft - from the story to her finding her way to the protagonist we all know so well.

I love this series, I think Square Enix is doing a great job with it. I cannot wait for the next one, September needs to come sooner <3

Less memorable and less intimate than its predecessor, Rise of the Tomb Raider opts for expanding into bigger, more complex gameplay. But the added intricacies over-complicate in-game systems and turn completionist collectable gathering into a grinding chore. Though the story feels ripped from a rejected Uncharted script, the combat is satisfying. The skill trees only have a few desirable/useful perks, and weapon upgrading is far more cumbersome and far less rewarding than in the previous game. Overall, a beautifully-presented, mediocre game you should play, but probably won't keep. The Iron Man 2 of the Tomb Raider franchise.

I was obsessed with this game back when i had a PS2. This is obviously a major upgrade but very familiar. I love this game.

I didn’t get a chance to play this second game of the Tomb Raider franchise because I assumed it was a remastered version of the first game “Rise of the Tomb Raider” as soon as I found out about it I had to own it and it’s awesome

If you've played the Tomb raider reboot that came out back in 2013 or 2014 this is more of the same. If you haven't played it, but like Uncharted this is also a good buy but without the funny Nathan to keep you laughing.

So far I enjoy it. Mechanics are similar to the Uncharted Series, but with some of its own unique twists that I've enjoyed thus far.

The Reboot of my favorite Adventurer Lara Croft made me happy when The Tomb Raider was release. This 2nd Installment, bring Lara back in action and well prepare. I had high hopes for this game but sadly the Story was interesting and confusing and the ending was mediocre.

It might have some similarities to the Uncharted franchise, especially the opening, but there's enough to differentiate it. I love this game.

It's not as good as the reboot and definitely over hyped once I heard about reviews from the Xbox review. I only have PS4 so I waited a yr for this game. Uncharted 4 is way better than Rise of the Tomb Raider. Uncharted 4 was slightly disappointing to me but in comparison to Rise of the Tomb Raider it's a 10/10 game vs my initial impression of Uncharted 4 as a 8.5. All other uncharted games were 10's to me and is one of my favorite franchises. Tomb Raider is also one my favorite franchises but I think it needs to end like Uncharted series unless Lara gets better stories to tell. Even Tomb Raider gameplay has become stale. The crafting seems to be interesting but once you experiment with different weapons they all feel the same except for the shotgun.

Awesome game for those who like the franchise. The franchise has changed over the years and is now similar to Drake's Fortune and such.

I grew up playing The originals they were great just never got into playing the other games in the series

Another Tomb Raider game with really not much difference from the others which is ok since it is fun to play!

It's a solid game but wasn't for me, I feel as though Uncharted does it better at this point but if you're itching for more like it then it's hard to deny Tomb Raider does what it sets out to do.

This series has really taken off. It's right up there with Uncharted. I feel it's a closer experience to an interactive Indiana experience.

Love everything about this game. Played through it twice, and still enjoying all the extra content that came with the 20 year celebration.

this is the best tomb raider and lots of customization. all dlc included, make sure to play on the hardest setting if you're a true fan!
