I’ve had this robot vacuum/mop for almost a year now. I was a bit skeptical because it has so many capabilities (vacuum and mop) that I felt like it had a lot of opportunities for things to go wrong. So far so good. This thing works perfectly. And it actually does a great job of cleaning. Never gets stuck or lost. I’ve watched it several times go places that I thought it would never find its way out, but it always does. The programming is easy and intuitive. I have several routines setup for particular spot cleaning chores and it works great. I have nothing but good things to say about this machine. I waited and bought it on the Black Friday sale and got a very good price as well.

Incredible little mop/vacuum. Our ceramic tile floors haven't looked this nice since they were installed. Very easy to program and map the house. Highly recommend!!

Unit has an amazing cleaning ability. Mopping has been excellent! Mapping is amazing and unit cleans itself great. Had only an issue with the emptying of the dust bin one time because of a build of dog hair in my home before having this wonderful robot! I no longer see hair tumble weeds rolling through my home.

This is one of the best home products I have invested in. I’ve had it for several months now and it works exactly as described and requires very little work on my end. I have two dogs who have dog door access and are constantly tracking mud, grass, etc. in my house. This now saves me from mopping 800+ square feet of hard wood every day while also doing an excellent job of keeping up with the dog hair. I use the Roborock cleaning solution with it and I have to refill the clean tank and empty the dirty tank about every three days. You can see how dirty the water is in the dirty tank so it’s obvious that it’s doing a good job. My floors have honestly never looked better. 10/10 recommend.

Was expensive but if it keeps working as well as it has been it will be worth it.

After some initial setup weirdness, the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra has been rock solid. It was a breath of fresh air after trying to get multiple Roomba j9's to work. The Roborock does exactly what I tell it to do, when I tell it to do it. I've had it for about 3 weeks now, haven't had to reset anything, restart the app, etc. It just works, and it works well. The setup weirdness was that your WiFi network can't have any special characters in it's password. That and the steep price tag are the only knocks I have against this product.

My Roborock is nearly perfect. Setup was easy enough but the only real drawback is the inability to connect to any wireless network above 2.4. Not terribly inconvenient to set my network to 2.4 for a short time, but still surprising on a new device. This vacuum prompted me to purchase the Q8 Revo for my other house. I found the Revo to perform fairly similarly and it was even slightly quieter than the S8 Pro. The performance of the S8 is good. It can't make it on one of my shag rugs which is disappointing, but it does a good job on my other hardwood floors and area rugs. I wish it would empty itself when it's full much in the same way it washes the mops after a set time. It's a bit inconvenient to set up a number of schedules for each room if you want to empty to vacuum between rooms. Can wait until a vacuum can climb the stairs. Then I'll overlook the other shortcomings.

Vacuums and mops well. When we first received, unboxed and started using I would get an error that the mop cleaning and water filtration feature wasn’t working properly. I contacted customer support thru Roborock and I guess thru power cycling it somehow resolved itself. A few opportunities would be to improve the mop drying. The mops fade outward and the drying is not as effective compared to the Eufy. For this reason, sometimes the mop leaks a little onto the tray then floors and my dog licks it. Another area would be obstacle avoidance. As new as this vacuum is, it’ll still get sometimes stuck on power cables. My much older Eufy does the same. This is a nice vacuum/robot combo but for the price compared to the Eufy Omni X10 it’s hard to justify keeping. The main thing for me is the mop drying.

I recently purchased this Roborock S8 Ultra, and I must say it has completely surpassed my expectations. Compared to six other robotic cleaners I've tried in the past, this one is on a whole new level of intelligence and efficiency. It's incredibly smart and cleans in a way that doesn't leave me frustrated or disappointed. Yes, the price tag is higher compared to other options, but let me tell you, it's worth every penny. The cleaning performance and convenience it offers are unparalleled. I've finally found a robotic cleaner that I can truly rely on. If you're considering investing in a robotic cleaner, I highly recommend the Roborock S8 Ultra. Don't waste your time with other models; this one is in a league of its own.

Good product. Much better than IRobot.. We replaced the iRobot S9+. With Roborock. Now no more getting stuck. No more iRobot error messages. Very happy with the purchase.

I'm not going to bore you with the details that you can find in the specifications. I'm just going to tell you I was an avid supporter of Roombas. We had S9s on every level. We had another Roomba in our garage and our shed. We had Brava Jets as well. Everything FAILED! In some way shape or form and of course it was just after the warranty expired. Why am I saying all this, Because Roborock is the EXACT OPPOSITE! These vacuums are ridiculously efficient, smart and easy to maintain. I have had discussions with their customer service and every time I've talk to them, I've felt heard. Even if they couldn't immediately resolve the issue. There a couple nuances to be aware of that I hope Roborock will address in future updates. - The vacuum bag has to be checked manually. It doesn't have a notification that it's full. Really odd considering it tells you just about everything else. - When connecting to WiFi the system has to be on a 2.4 GHZ only (not 5G mesh) system. And the password can only be numbers and letters. This in my eyes is the biggest issue since a weak password for my IOT Network compromises my network security. But other than those two things, we have now replaced every single Roomba with a Roborock and we will not be looking back. Do yourself a favor and get one (or more ) of these!

This product though a bit pricey is everything it advertises to be. It is easy to use, vacuums and mops better than expected. With $400 off on a Black Friday deal I decided to give it a try. So glad I did

Bought this as i tried the deebot x12 and that robot was erractic in its navi. This robot blew the x12 out of the water when it comes to navi. Much smarter. Cleans well. Looks modern and futuristic. Highly recommend

Love! Love! Love! I was shocked at how clean and shiny the floor looked. It was simple to set up, did what it was supposed to do and has saved me tons of time having to sweep up after two dogs. It’s just so cool and worth every penny!

AMAZING! I previously had an iRobot Roomba s9+ w/Braava jet Robot Mob that often got stuck, required filling the tank after every mopping, and the mop had trouble distinguishing between low carpet and would spray it. The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is absolutely superior - the mapping technology is much more accurate, it vacuums better, it's quieter, it dries the floor as it mops, the mop cleans itself, and I only have to fill the tank every so often! The price is admittedly steep but I've been using it daily and my home is spotless.

Best mop and vacuum. Stopped washing the floors with your hands. Got stuck under the desk in the office a couple of times.

Who here doesn't get much help keeping their place clean? I love my Dyson V10, but having to vacuum the house myself every day after work is not a winner. I've long wanted a capable robot vacuum - and I'm glad I went with this one. It takes a significant load off my back in keeping our floors clean (and getting the cat fur tumbleweeds!) It's fairly unobtrusive and I very rarely have to babysit it (usually only if a cat toy has been left on the ground that's small enough to get rolled over and pulled into the brushes). The only thing I needed to do to get the house ready for this vacuum was to put cable covers on my speaker wires that run across the floor - after that, the S8 just rolls over the rubber humps and carries on without issue. Same for our abnormally thick thresholds. It detects and avoids rolling over the cats, thankfully. Sometimes I ponder why the vacuum makes the decision it does, but the firmware is being updated fairly frequently and its algorithms with it - I've watched it get better at navigating over the handful of months since I got it. It has also gotten better over that short time at identifying obstacles throughout the house (usually shoes or a recalcitrant feline). The app is pleasant enough to use and I haven't had any issues with it so far – it’s also nice to be able to keep tabs on the vacuum while away from home. I was able to set up a customized schedule easily (and it’s simple to turn off the schedule if it doesn’t work for that particular day). The vacuum did a great job at creating the floor map on its first foray around the house – splitting the space into rooms was all I needed to do manually (and you won’t even need to do that if you’re only ever sending it out on a “full” job.) Maintenance on the dock and vacuum is fairly easy (and will almost certainly take less time than if you were manually vacuuming). I will say that you will want to empty the wastewater bin frequently - it will likely start to smell if you don't (I don't leave mine more than a day with even a single mop job's worth of dirty water). I use the Roborock-suggested cleaning fluid. The smell’s only detectable if the bin’s lid is open, though. Otherwise, everything is easy to get to to clean and I only need to clean the dock’s parts occasionally. The mop function has worked well for our vinyl & wood floors and the dock dries it well when the job's finished. I also keep spare pads on hand for when the one that was being used needs to go into the washer. Vacuuming jobs get virtually everything in the robot’s path – I’ve yet to see anything left behind, including on our short pile area rug. The brush design is a big plus for me - I have long curly hair and it will tie Gordian knots around -everything-. The S8's brush design is great - they move hair onto the easy-to-remove axles and I no longer have to wrestle hair off a beater brush as with my manual vacuums. The battery life has never come close to needing to recharge after any job on our ground floor. I’m not nuts about the English voice, but that’s almost a non-issue. I do wish it had a way to detect how full the vacuum bag is – I simply cannot tell when it’s really time to change it. But those are my only complaints – it’s performed great so far and I hope for it to have a long life helping me out!

Incredible robot vacuum and mop. I have 2 kids and a dog. This thing picks up hair, food crumbs, and even small toy parts that I miss. Nothing ever got stuck in the vacuum. The station dustbag will last a long time. Its been one year and I havent replaced the dustbag yet. This vacuum runs daily and mops every other day in our house. Highly Recommend!!

Definitely recommend it! A wonderful assistant!Delivered very quickly.Packed perfectly. There is a brief instruction, connected to the program without any questions. The program has set the type of cleaning: vacuuming + washing, copes with the task perfectly, washes the napkin at a given time and returns to the place where he stopped, after cleaning, washes the napkin, throws the garbage from the dust collector into the compartment with the bag and dries the napkin (drying time can also be set) It remains only to drain the dirty water from the bucket and that's it.

I've used Roomba's exclusively for many years now, but often found myself getting frustrated with how slow they were to map out my house, and how often they got stuck (Roomba j7). The S8 Pro is superior in every metric. The camera + laser measurement system had our 2600 sqr foot first floor mapped in under 20 minutes. My old Roomba took hours to do the same thing. Initially ran a full vacuum cycle and was impressed by how much quieter the S8 Pro was compared to my previous vac. When vacuuming tile I found it's something I could sleep through, and I'm a very light sleeper. On carpet, the boost setting kicks in and it gets louder but I would still rate it as quieter than my old Roomba. It seemed to clean up all bits of dirt on the floor that my kids and pets dragged in. The cleaning pattern is also consistent and quick, with the robot first cleaning the edges of the room before going through it in predictable straight lines. The next day I sent it out for a mopping run and it did an excellent job cleaning our tile floors. I could clearly see areas where the mop had cleaned next to dirty areas. The water in the dirty water tank was a muddy gray which was impressive since I had cleaned the floors fairly recently. My only gripe with this particular model is it will struggle to mop right against edges (such as rugs). Depending on your flooring you may notice a small area that did not get mopped around your rug. Future models will improve on this with a new feature called edge mopping (Roborock S8 MaxV and Q-Revo MaxV). The S8 with a dual brush roller is a strong vacuum for people with a mix of tile / carpet, or a lot of rugs. If you can find it on sale I think it's a great buy. I'm going to be using this unit primarily for a heavily carpeted 2nd floor, with some occasional bathroom mopping while considering the Q-Revo MaxV when it is released for our tile heavy downstairs.
