It is fun to play but in my opinion, it is not as good as the original. Also, your rockband purchases can be redownloaded but it is not at all an easy process.

Had an absolute blast the night I bought it. Parents and kids jamming away. The game is quite fun. Day 2 the guitar would no longer connect. Found out how to fix it but I don't have a computer with Windows 7 so I'm screwed. Good luck contacting the company that makes it for help or an exchange. Stay away, they shouldn't be allowed to sell a game that has issues almost right out of the box.

Cool game to have fun a couple hours with friends, keep in mind that you might have to invest more on buying better songs.

Harmonic has improved on the rock band game. On PS4 it runs smooth and easy to understand. Game comes with over 80 songs, and there are thousands of songs that can be bought separately. If you previously had a rock band game then you don't have to repurchase songs and old instruments work as well. I really enjoy the dongle free new instruments. Drums and guitar are very responsive. Some things from rock band 3 are missing, but there will be patches for fixes and adding new content and features - free! A big patch is scheduled for December. No online play, so your band has to be in the same room. There are online leaderboards. There are several different playing modes like career mode, play a show and quick play. My family loves to play together.

It really hard to ser up and after we did, we realized that you need a different log in for every instrument you have..

Rock band 4 could be a great game. Unfortunately, the instruments that come with the game are extremely glitchy. The game doesn't seem to accept input from multiple instruments at once, making band mode unplayable. Harmonix has since broke contract with the instrument manufacturer. The main appeal of this game was playing with friends and I can't do that so I can't recommend this game.

Rock band 4 is extremely fun and brings back old memories to the new consoles! Overall this game is super fun and is exactly what I expected. Once I heard this was coming out I knew it was a must have. The game is only 6 gb download on the ps4 which is great considering my low hard drive space. The new instruments are great and make game play even better. The new instruments are capable of firmware updates to improve them even more but it is not necessary. Updating them is somewhat hard because it has to be a windows 7, 8.1 or 10 laptop that updates them that has Bluetooth built in. My laptop doesn't have Bluetooth built in so I need to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter but they are pretty cheap.The game play is great and even will allow previous dlc into the game. Overall I couldn't be happier with the game. I know at least 3 or 4 of my friends also bought it and they love it too.

This product didn't go through my of an update. Have to spend alot of extra money to get a variety of music

I rather buy guitar hero has more options instead of rock band.

Song selections little better but over all ok. Fun with family.

I like the product. But having trouble with it lagging.

Such a disappointment. Instruments don't sync up correctly.

the game is great to play but the drums don't play when you hit them, they have a delay and even if you synchronice the device it wont play on time.

I've had many of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games for the PS3 and we loved them. This one is fun but the instruments are garbage! The Bluetooth sync it's terrible, they are a pain to get connected, then the they constantly lose calibration mid song. After a few weeks the guitar strum bar wouldn't work, I got frustrated and picked up one from Goodwill to swap the pickups just to get the thing working again. I'm highly disappointed in the lack of quality in this system.

I should have know as I have played them in the past hundreds of dollars in addons and drums started to come apart after 3 months
