A Welcomed Return
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kix is a band that you know what to expect when you purchase a previous or current release. Good old hard rock, similar to what was being heard everywhere in the 80's and early 90's before the arrival of grunge. Granted lyrically Kix will never be known as poet's with the exception of maybe Don't Close Your Eyes but if you give the new disc a listen you will be pleasantly surprised!

No Rust
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a band that hasn't released anything in quite awhile, I expected this release to have a little "rust". But Kix are still just as good as they were back in the day. Kix won't ever have a "Blow My Fuse" moment again due to the fact people aren't that into hard rock anymore, but for those who are, I highly recommend this album.

Great comeback album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you loved Blow My Fuse, then you'll love this one too. These old guys really know how to rock. His voice sounds a little different, but this album does not disappoint.

KIX Do It Again!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kix have done it again with another great album. It's all of the classic elements and sounds you've come to expect from this Maryland band. Sure, it probably isn't going to win over any new fans, but old timers like myself will find plenty to enjoy. It fits in perfectly with the rest of their discography. The only downside is the obligatory power ballad. It's not really a bad song, (even though Steve's lisp is really prominent) but it just brings the momentum of an otherwise up-beat album to a grinding halt. Maybe if it were the last track? It just seems unnecessary, especially in this day & age. It's 2014, not 1988. The MTV we knew is gone. The era of the power ballad is over. Get rid of it. This is the perfect summer time album, great for long road trips with the windows down and the volume up. Love it with your top down ;)

Fan since I first heard Midnite Dynamite
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, I am old. I came across new live KIX footage on youtube. From the subsequent recommended vids, I realized they had a "new" album. I had no idea I was missing out. I immediately bought it from Best Buy. Of many of the old 80's bands, these guys are of the few that are still very tight with their act together. And, I am pleased to say, Steve Whiteman still sounds amazing! This CD is KIX all the way. If you are fan, just buy it! You can sample it on youtube and you will see what I mean.

Kix's Rock Your Face Off
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A solid album from a very under appreciated 80's group who should have been A LOT MORE known in their day. Easily their best effort since Blow My Fuse(1988).

Another solid CD from Kix
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kix's first album in many moons is a good one. The CD is filled with songs that have that Kix beat. Stand out tracks for me include the opening "Wheels in Motion" and "Love Me With Your Top Down". If you like the band you will not be disappointed.

KIX ARE BACK!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They have been back since 2008 but they finally put out some new music and it's killer. There is nothing here that you would not expect on a KIX record. It delivers maximum hard rock and heavy metal.

welcomed audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it was nice that the music sounds like its still from 80s. they still have it and didnt change what works not like bunch of other 80s bands that think they need to change to survive and end up worse

About what you would expect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this, as Kix is one of my favorite bands of the 80's hair metal scene. But all I can say is Meh. A lot of it sounds boring and re-treaded. It's really good to hear them again, but I couldn't help but think they were missing Donnie Purnell (only long time original not on the album who used to write the majority of their material) the entire time I was listening. It's OK for a walk down memory lane, but sadly, not much more.
