Revived from the 80's scrap heap, KIX has brought back good old fashioned rock N roll...it took a couple of listens through the disc to have it set in, but the cd is rockin' and if you were even a little bit of a fan, you'll love this disc,

Its been awhile since Kix has released a solo album. With todays music it feels as if it's just noise. Here Kix brought back the riffs and hooks of the guitar, the pounding of the bass and thumping of the drums. A very good and solid album which I compared it to their 1991 release Hot Wire but with more of a raw straight up knock your teeth out approach. Steve Whiteman's voice has never sounded better, Younkins and Forsythe still stringing it out on guitars and Chalfant pounding away on drums and newcomer Mark Schenker on bass has it thumping. So if your looking for some good ol' fashioned rock n" roll that makes ya wanna go cruise, slam a brew, blow windows out in the neighborhood give these tracks a try, Wheels In Motion to start it off, shift to the sticky catching Rollin' In Honey. Take a ride on the speedy Rock Your Face Off, Dirty Girls reminds me of Yeah Yeah Yeah of their debut album, And who could not forget a ballad without Inside Outside Inn, its a catchy title and even catchy lyric laden song about the special one. The rest of the album kicks it back into gear and speeds of to finish line leaving you with a taste for more. The only way to satisfy the thirst is to go for another drink or you could say a spin in the disc player.... It's like taking a time warp back in time, Thanks Kix and hope there is more to come.

Same great classic sound. Nothing has change since the bands glory days.
