It is wire, what else can I say about it. Seems heavy guage and music sounds good. Used banana plugs purchased from Best Buy with this wire. May find equal wire a little cheaper somewhere else, but I needed it when I picked up my new speakers and I was there, so the conveniance was worth it not to have to shop 10 different stores.

I used this to setup a Sony receiver with 7.2.2 configuration. Four Sony floorstanding speakers, two Sony Dolby Atmos height speakers, one Sony center channel speaker and two Acoustic Audio 600W 15 inch Subwoofers. Obviously only using the speaker wire for the speakers and not the Subwoofers. If I decide to move my setup into another room, I would buy this wire again if needed for more length. Removing the jacket was easy with scissors and wire cutters.

I never bought speaker wires before. Wish I knew ahead of time Procinema sound system didn't come with speaker wires(what is up with that). So after purchase I stripped wires(never did that before) with scissors. Took some time and practice. Glad I bought 100 feet. Sounds great. Glad I got banana plugs to go along them even though I was told they are not needed.

I wanted 14 gauge wire but had to settle for the 16 gauge as this was all that was available in the store. Rocket fish does not creadily mark the wire except for light wording with their name on one so I used that for the positive pole. A little squinting and a flashlight helped. The plastic sleeve is tough to cut through so a little more effort or better wire cutters are needed. Good wire but just a little inconvenience makes me give it a less than stellar rating.

Great sound, great quality, affordable price, easy to install

Pretty thick insulation and flexible ofc. Price was good as well. I was able to squeeze it through my molex to my door speakers. The only negative part: the marking for positive and length is in very small black print that is a bit hard to see. I would actually knock it down a half a star for that.

I like the wire itself and the sound is fine but the insulation seems a but much. My first attempt at stripping the ends off to connect to the speakers it only stretched, didn't cut. I eventually got a hold of a new set of wire strippers and was able to get through all the insulation but took a lot of wire too. I eventually got the ends cut to suit my needs but it took a bit more care than I'm used to stripping wire. Overall - good speaker wire.

Not bad overall cable. It does actually have small + on the positive cable so you can distinguish. You can definitely get this type of cable cheaper but it's not bad quality and can hold up for a long time before going bad. I've used this type of cable for many of my clients and in home set ups. It's good if you don't want to have to buy from some foreign company which you don't know the quality of the cable. At least Rocketfish is owned by bestbuy.

I was looking for Monster cable, but couldn't find it in my area. So-went to BBY and they had this cable in various lengths. I was able to get exactly the length I needed at a reasonable price. Then, strung the wire and it works well with my system. If you want quality cable, this one works well and produces great sound.

I needed quality speaker wire to connect $2000 speaker hi-fi speaker system in my living room, and if you spend that much on hi-fi, you just can't justify buying cheap speaker wire for the setup. This speaker wire is perfect, high quality, won't fray, has pole markings on each strand for ease of connection, and will last a lifetime. Just buy it.

I have quite a bit of length on my one speaker and this wire delivers. I did alot of research ahead of time and found this was the best product for your money. My sound is the same for my one speaker that is 10ft compared to the one that is 1ft. Thanks Rocketfish!

These cables were super easy to get hooked up to my speakers/receiver and I can only say good things about the sounds we’re getting in our movie/vinyl record listening experiences. Easy to use with banana plugs too. They must be doing the job and I would definitely but this product again!

Like me, you might have no problems spending $100s, even $1000s on your audio/video systems. So WHY would you go with cheap wiring when you are spending top dollar on your components? This is great wiring that is easy to use/install and makes sure your audio is heard at the highest clarity. Highly recommend!

It's not easy to find bad speaker wire and this item definitely doesn't disappoint. Used this spool to connect a pair of outdoor speakers to a Sonos Connect AMP (installed in Garage). No complaints. Thick insulation, clean/solid strands of copper, easy to unwind and run. I'd certainly recommend this product to other customers.

I bought a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers and connected them to my A/V Receiver in my living room via these cables. They work well, provide plenty of length, and were easy to manipulate in order to attach the tips to the speakers and receiver. I've been using them for several months now and no issues.

I was putting together a 5.1DTS Master Audio, in my bedroom, had some older speakers left over from my Home Theater Room, read the reviews and decided to go with these Rocketfish as my speaker wire. All I can say it works great, easy to work with, now I have a small Home Theater in my bedroom, sounds great.

I am not an audiophile by any means, but I do have two Klipsch floor speakers and a sub in the living room, and the former are connected with this wire. I chose the bare wire method instead of banana clips, and I'm happy with the sound. Music purposes, not so much TV surround sound. For the price when not going with a high-end option I was satisfied with the middle of the road choice.
