I was trying to install a tv antenna (cutting the cord). Instructions indicated it might be needed, so I purchased as a just in case. Other Rocketfish products I have purchased have worked great!

The gold plating makes it a better conductor which in turn creates a better connection. Plus the density of the cable itself makes me more confident in the longevity of its use.
