The first is the bigger one that had led backlit outlets and more joules protection. But this one is good bang for the buck. I have quite a few rocketfish surge protectors of varying sizes and none of them have failed me.

Great protector for your products

The price was reasonable and it even has a coax IN & OUT connection to protect the cable line. It's worth the price.

All usable outlets!!

It is hard to find good power strips where you can use all of the outlets. With this one I was able to plug in the larger plugs for some of the AV items into the outer outlets while still plugging other things into the middle outlets.

Rockfish 12 Outlet Surge Protector 4680 Joules

Since this was a returned item by another customer the price was $9.00 less. The condition of this surge protector was tested as “good”. I plugged it into an outlet (and other outlets) in my home. It was dead, no indicator lights, nothing. When i plugged a device into the protector the device would not turn on. I looked at other reviews and it was praised highly, and i believe that. I plan on going to my local Best Buy and exchange mine for another.

It accommodates all the devices I need and hasn’t been overloaded at all. Very low profile for how many devices are plugged in.
