Tour customer service over the phone SUCKS! Ive been trying for two days to get through to an actual person that works in the store. I call in and i get transferred to a call center, unknown location. They have left a message for the store manager to call, that hasnt happened yet. Great Powerstrip / Surge Protector

This powerstrip is a great option to power your electronics. It has a built in surge protector just in case there is an issue and comes with a guarantee if your connected electronics are damaged. As for the power strip itself, it has 12 plugs which is a good amount and more than I actually need. It also has two usb plugs (one USB-a and one USB-c). They worked well enough, but I was surprised how low powered the UCB-c was. It can do a phone charger no problem and can be used to charge a speaker or headset, but it’s too low to power a computer. That’s not a big deal since I have my computer’s charger I can just plug into one of the outlets, but its not like they are lacking the space in the unit to be able to do higher power. Maybe their research showed most people don’t want a higher power, but its 20W in case that matters to you. It also has 2 options to protect your devices from surges across other wirings. It has a place for you to route your coaxal as well as an ethernet cable through the surge protector to prevent issues. For where I’m using it, I don’t really need this feature, but its nice to know its there just in case. Just to test it I also put this unit between my cable drop and my internet modem as well as between my router and my modem to see if it bottlenecked the speeds. I didn’t notice any drop in speeds, but its possible it could if you were doing really high transfer rates on an internal network. Obviously I didn’t test out the surge protection feature since that would have fried the unit and that’s just a waste, but I do have a bit more confidence that they say they’ll back up the unit with a money guarantee. I’ve never heard of anyone trying to use one of those guarantees so I don’t know if there are any gotcha’s or fine print that makes this just marketing fluff, but the company’s a fairly big brand so I’m just hoping that they really mean it. Overall a great way to power and protect your devices.

This Product was not designed well. It is not spaced properly to allow all 12 spots to be utilized and with some plugs larger than others.

We understand your frustration with the design limitations of the product you purchased. It's disappointing to hear that the spacing doesn't allow for all 12 spots to be utilized effectively, especially when some plugs are larger than others. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll take it into consideration as we strive to improve our product designs to better meet the needs of our customers. If you have any further concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to let us know, and we'll do our best to address them. Nice protector without shocking price

Surge protectors are, for me, something you setup and forget about. Unless it goes out (never had one do that) or you continue to add components to where you are out of power outlets. The latter had occurred to me so I was looking to replace my 6 outlet protector with at least a 10 slot. So, when this popped up, I couldn’t wait to try it. I was not disappointed. The unit is much lighter than my very old monster protector it was replacing. The 6 outside outlets are spaced to allow use for those components with power blocks with the 6 inside to use for normal sized plugs. Since it had been years since I had last accessed the current protector – lets just say there was dust encountered – and leave it at that. Unplugging components from the old protector was easy enough but I wound up changing my mind several times as to where to plug components into the new unit. As such I would suggest waiting to plug in the new (or leave turned off) unit until you have finished plugging in all your components. Having a 6-foot cord with low-profile wall plug was nice. 4,680 Joules. You should have at least 2000 rating if plugging in expensive components. The higher the better. Rated for 15 amps. Also reduces EMI/RFI interference in power lines. Where I am using the unit, I don’t need to use coax filter so can’t speak to its functionality. Nor am I using the RJ-45 ethernet connections. The USB-C output is 20W (5V, 3: 9V, 2.22A) and can easily charge a phone or a small tablet. The USB Output is 12W (5V, 2.4A) – which is good to charge a phone or use to power streaming device. Has 3-line protection guarding hot/neutral and ground lines. The LED lighting indicates the unit is protecting (on) and is also grounded. Comes with 50K connected equipment limited warranty as well as 1 year warranty. The unit seems to function well and look forward to many years use. It’s a recommendation from me.

What you need in a surge protector!

The Rocketfish™ - 12-Outlet Surge Protector is one of those pieces of equipment that makes you feel protected having it even though you don't ever see it. First off I prefer to have a brand name product like Rocketfish protecting my valuable electronic equipment. Why? Well one reason is the $50,000 connected equipment guarantee. Also I know its well made versus a no name brand of surge protector you can get anywhere online these days. Build quality is solid and this thing is pretty flat and is not obtrusive and fits well behind my media console. I also love that it has a right angle plug, a must in my opinion when you are trying to squeeze this between a small place. Obviously it has 12 outlets, 3 outlets are on each side which provide ample room for those larger plugs and then you have a row of six outlets going down the middle of the surge protector and then you have your coaxial and modem protection on the other end. Also as another neat feature this surge protector also comes with a USB and USB-C port. I also like that "Portected & Grounded is lighted and you can tell by a quick glance that you are covered. It also has EMI/RFI interference noise filtering. The Rocketfish 12 outlet surge protector is rated 4680 joules, 15 amps and 125 volts and also comes with a cord length of 6 feet. If you value what you're plugging your electronics into then I would consider looking into this product because not all surge protectors are made equally. As I stated earlier in my review I have comfort in the guarantee and quality of a brand name product.

If you're like me, you have several surge protectors scattered throughout your house with a couple in particular in key areas where you may run into issues. Behind the TV in my "media area", I've got the TV, the cable modem, the router, an Apple TV box, and Amazon fire stick, a light and a couple of other unidentified plugs. The bane of high concentration areas like that are the oddly shaped plugs that come with many of these important peripherals. The Rocketfish™ - 12-Outlet/1-USB-C/1-USB 4,680 Joules Surge Protector has you covered!! The 6 outlets all in a row down the center fits all the "normal" plugs that don't require more space. All 6 of the outlets on the outer edges are rotated in such a way as to allow all the odd shaped plugs to have plenty of space without covering up additional outlets. Toss in the USB-A & USB-C outlets, the network cable in/out and cable/coaxial in/out and the Rocketfish™ - 12-Outlet/1-USB-C/1-USB 4,680 Joules Surge Protector can protect just about everything you've got. I'll be ordering another one for the office where multiple monitors, laptops and additional networking hubs create the same issues.

    Poor Clamping Voltage

The clamping voltage is 600V. For a product in this price range, it should be 330V or 400V max. All of your high $$$ electronics will fry before this thing ever kicks in.
